Well, not at full price on release day, just walked by the game display a few minutes ago, $59.99. lol as AC 2 was $15.99
Edit: I should say this is my first time of not buying a Blizzard game on release day. Own several copies of all games. I will be passing on Diablo III as well, times change . . . =)

This is really weird. I tried to add you through the game, and it needed me to supply a "Character Code". What is that?

As part of the RealID initiative you'll find a number at the top of the friend panel thats your Character code and is used to add friends.
At least thats what I read somewhere :P

It seems Blizzard have decided to not differentiate between players by nick alone, but have also added a three-digit "Character Code". Which probably means there can be 999 JohnDoe characters, or something.
Anyway, there's no harm in sharing the code, so mine is 207.
I'll be taking a break now since I've played for 7 hours straight ..

I want to play Starcraft so much... at least I'll be able to play it once I get off work. It should be arriving in the next couple of hours.

Strange, the game can't seem to find you. Are they preventing people from different regions friending each other?
My code is either 618 or 518. I couldn't tell because the font was very small. See if you have any better luck than me.

You must be in the same region to see him, I believe.

I would assume so. Battle.net 2.0 is built on the WoW architecture, which is strictly region based. One can hope they reintroduce the possibility to choose which servers you want to play on, just like they had i BNET 1.0.

You can change your gaming region apparently at will on the battle.net website.
