It dawned on me sometime after posting that that many on an international forum would probably never have heard of the US soap opera "Days of Our Lives" which that references. The show always started with:

"Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives."

The show was loaded with drama, etc. on a daily basis.

Wasn't "Days" just cancelled? Or was that "YATR"? Wait. maybe I'm thinking of "All My Children"? Which is the one with all of the bickering family members and golddiggers and psycho ex wives?

but does (gestures to thread) happen enough to require its removal either?
how often do people really "bully" by rating a post down and if rep is meaningless anyway how are they harmed by this?

I just wanted the people who didn't mind me so much or like me to say best wishes or something like that due to me not sharing my thoughts in this forum anymore. I should of known better.

Boob tube. It's funny, because there are no boobs in American television. (unless it's paid premium! :D)

Sad, but true. However, the use of "boob tube" by my old man back then, was referring to me becoming a boob by sitting in front of the boob tube...watching all the "crap" as he would put, would turn me into a boob, as in dunce, idiot, moron..you get the picture ;)

I couldn't imagine how one word can be referring to being dumb and to something as wonderful as boobies in any language :P

They can jiggle nicely, be all pert and at attention, or just sit waiting to be admired :-)
