Here is the situation, IGN review scored the game very well, I just watched day9 live stream the game and it looks pretty nice, gamespot gave it a somewhat decent score just stating that quests are blend. Now I played the demo a few weeks ago and it really sucked, camera was sloppy and glitchy, controls felt like a bad console to PC port.

Did anyone buy the retail pc version? How is it compared to the demo? Did anyone buy the PS3 version, how are the controls?

Thank you

IGN stated on their review that the PC version actually runs better than PS3 one, with better graphics, less texture pop-ins and less framerate slowdowns, so I guess PC beats all there.

As for controller, I played the demo... and can't think of playing that with anything but an x360 controller.

Ok so we can both agree that the controls are designed for a game controller..
After playing the demo it is definitely needs to be played with a controller on the PC - Much like Dungeon Siege 3.
It's a console game so... why not play it on it's native format.

Better Graphics and smother play on the PC - Just use a controller.

Seems like it. Very awkward when playing the PC demo with keyboard. Whole game felt consoley to be quite frank.

for the reason Lou stated, if it will be more stable and better looking I will play it on the PC... Cant make my mind
Assuming you already have a controller, go for the PC version as it is likely cheaper.
And for the price difference, you can buy yourself a decent gamepad. As popular as the 360 gamepad is, I find the logitech cordless rumblepad 2 to be more comfortable, and it has a far far better D-pad, and there are programs that allows it to be used in games that normally only supports 360 controllers.
PC > PS3. Why?

1. Patches.
2. HD Textures Mod.

Obviously the possibility of an HD Texture Mod is a valid point, but I don't get the patch thing. The PS3 has no problem with patches.

It is easier to patch PC version. In case of a problem usually there's a community patch/solution/workaround long before an official patch. Such things as improved graphics by editing config files or changing driver settings, custom patches to unlock 30fps framerate (From Dust) or entire custom patches (Gothic 3) cannot be overlooked.

I've got nothing against the consoles, but I always choose PC version if I can.
To me, the demo felt fine with keyboard and mouse, although the auto-targeting for ranged weapons wasn't all that great.

I have the full version preordered on PC, it releases here tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it :D
Does anyone know what kind of mod support this game has? I keep seeing the game compared to The Elder Scrolls, and mod support is the biggest reason why you need to get TES on PC.

Okay, I got you. That sort of stuff. The little config tweaks and driver settings are not the sort of thing that would decide a platform for me, but those big community patches that fix broken games are super nice. I don't agree with it being easier to patch the PC version though. With a console you just pop in the game, and if there is a patch available, it asks you if you want it or not. (Unless you have a Wii. Then your screwed. Nintendo doesn't believe in the internet.) With PC it seems to usually be a fully manual process, or fully automatic without giving you the choice of when and if to download it.
