Could you maybe tell a story of what you would like to experience if you had access to snow?

I'm from Puerto Rico so it doesn't snow here. HOWEVER the only time I have ever had contact with snow was when I was about 8 and went to visit my aunt in the state of Ohio. I loved the experience. I got on a sled and went down a few hills that were behind her house. It was an amazing experience. :) Plus I remember a really bad snowstorm the day after. That was not much fun. :(

I'm in with my depressing snow story. Back in 1997 I moved to Canada, and after a series of unfortunate events I found myself homeless. As my luck would have it my first night on the street coincided with a snow storm. I know it sounds like fun, but Sleeping in the snow for a week was pretty traumatic. Lol I'm really surprised I didn't lose some extremities to frostbite

I fondly remembering walking on top of icy snow and then icy crust collapsed and I've been in the snow to my waist.
Or how we sledded on plastic bag filled with ice and had to create something like tunnel into the snow to do it properly. It was lot of fun, good times. It is sad that this year has no snow.

EDIT: Oops, I missed the snow part! One Winter many years ago I slipped on the ice. Seemed fine after that, and went to visit my folks for the weekend. Woke up one night in excruciating back pain. My mother took me to her chiropractor the next day. First time I had ever been to one. He put me on the rolling table, then did an adjustment. Miraculous results, the pain abated and was soon gone. I don't go in for the more mumbo-jumbo side of chiropractics, but I'm a firm believer in them crackin' out the pain! :D

Something about snow, huh? Back when I had a dog, I didn't like snow because the darn stuff got into my dog's paw. Really, really hard lumps of snow between his toes. At the end of each walk he'd start to get restless and finally started to try chewing the snow off. We had to stop every few meters and you could see how annoyed and frustrated the poor guy was. :-(

Not in, but glad to hear the good news! It's nice to be reminded how fortunate we are from time to time. Hmm, as for snow, my favorite snow memory was just a couple years back... my wife and I rented a cabin in the mountains in Georgia, and she had never seen snow before. The first day we were there it was cold and quiet. I was awoken a while before sunset by the sound of my wife yelling, "what the f*ck IS THAT??"

It was snowing in full force, and she pretty much freaked out. I've never heard her say "shit yeah!" so many times in one morning. We played in the snow most of the day, accompanied by a small group of deer that seemed fascinated with our strange behavior. Nothing particularly funny or painful about it, just a really nice memory. :)

But here's a fun fact about snow in Finland: We didn't have almost any snow until January this year(or at least in the southern part of Finland that is) and you could consider that quite rare thing when living this north!
