Yes, you read it right! Together with Oddmobb we're cutting down the price for both Oddworld games, forever!
The adventures of the bravest, the most famous and the most friendly of all Mudokons are now available for even less money than you could imagine! From now on, both [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/oddworld_abes_oddysee]Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus can be yours for only $5.99 each on GOG.com. To get in the mood of this "odd world", be sure to read David Craddock's interview with the creator of the Oddworld universe, Lorne Lanning - part 1 and part 2. Now you have no excuses and you have to grab those classics.
too bad I took both of them before on Steam because they were cheaper.
At least now they're now more affordable for gogers too :]
Bad thing you can't play in a window without dxwind or other stuff, I think this two were two shoddy PC ports and maybe it's better to play them via a psx emulator to have hi-res filters and save states

Nice, now I'm gonna pick them up sometimes later.
One thing, though, the game page still says $9,99.
A surprise, and on a Monday! Thanks!
I always felt that these two were overpriced. $5.99 each is fair enough.
Good news indeed, but the game pages are still not altered with the new price.
YES!
I will be able to buy them next time once I have money 8)

As does the game listing
Much fairer price. Might pick up the second one now.
Sorry, a small glitch. Now everything reflects the new, lower price point :)
Good job, guys. I still have my discs of those, but to anyone else who doesn't: these are great, great titles and well worth even the original price.
Could this indicate that the long-awaited PC ports of the other Oddworld games could end up here, too? I know they are to be released on Steam, but it would be really awesome if you had them, too.
this is nice.
got the foist one.
thankee
On a related note, how often do GOG.com review their prices. This is the only instance I can remember (correct me if I'm blatantly/likely wrong) where prices have been lowered.
Obviously there are instances where things cannot be reduced in price due to contracts/publishers (obviously they're going to want it at the higher price for as long as feasible), but there are some releases hanging around the $9.99 price point like a bad smell.

There's been one or two times when prices have had a permanent drop and there was one delayed game whilst they negotiated a better price for it.
Good news on these coming down, personally I think the extras make them worth $10 but then I rather like a soundtrack

I remember a tank-game (can't remember the name) and one of the Divinity games (maybe Beyond?)
Edit: The tank-game must be Panzer Elite
