There’s a million aliens out there thirsting for your blood; can you slaughter your way to the exit?

These classic top-down shooters have you killing enough aliens to make Sigourney Weaver blush, and this two pack of [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/alien_breed_tower_assault]Alien Breed and Alien Breed: Tower Assault is available for only $5.99.

Alien Breed is a classic run-and-shoot action game that has you fighting a variety of bulbous-headed aliens with an insatiable hunger for your flesh. In a distant future, you control one brave space ranger or (with a friend) two fearless cosmic marines who blast their way through maze-like levels crawling with hideous space monstrosities to find the lift down to the next level and--hopefully--to escape the doomed space station that you’re on. Clearing the space station completely will require killing hundreds of nasty aliens, buying new weapons, medkits, ammo, and finally blowing everything up. For us at GOG.com, just a regular day.

Alien Breed: Tower Assault follows a similar alien slaying scenario as the first game in the series. However, it is much less linear than its predecessor and offers 276 possible ways of completing the game (yes, we checked).

If you wished in 2012 for an alien-infested space stations and soldiers on a suicide missions, well, you’re a little crazy. But if you wished for a fantastic game about alien-infested space stations, GOG.com makes your dreams come true with a powerful double combo from Team 17: Alien Breed and Alien Breed: Tower Assault for only $5.99.
I'm not familiar with this game or series but it's great to have it now on GOG, now I'll have a chance to give it a try :)

Knowing GOG... Is Alien Breed TA the full or the original cut version?
..Ah, the reference to non-linearity implies the full one.

I might add this to AB Obliteration in the next sale.

Team17 yau
OHYEAH!

Is this a PC version? Is it any different from Amiga version?
This IMHO isnt a Good Old Game :/
One question, how does this compare to the Amiga entries in the series? Any differences/worth getting if you loved the Amiga versions?

looks neat :) can the cooperative be played on one keyboard or do I need a keyboard and a joystick/controller?
Holy One.

Its ike travel back in time.
You're so great GOG *_*
Wishlisted....ech... last promo killed my wallet. Cannot be helped. Will keep an eye on this one ;)
hmm i will definatly try this one day. I was one of the few who really enjoyed their recent addition to the series and i have never played the originals.
Hopefully Tower Assault includes the hilariously bad FMV.
I still have this (and the hilarious intro) for CD32. My question is, and as others have asked, is how this compares to the Amiga version. The same goes for Superfrog. Can anyone comment? Amiga to PC conversions are usually terrible...
