With another release from the new wave of Atari titles hitting GOG.com's catalogue, we're answering another question - what game made you feel like a hero? It's Demon Stone.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/forgotten_realms_demon_stone]Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is an action RPG set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms. Players take control of a party of heroic characters which include a fighter, a sorcerer and a rogue. Each of the characters have their own set of skills and require a different approach to the gameplay. The really cool feature of the game is that you can switch between your heroes anytime you need to fully take advantage of their abilities and perform deadly team attacks. Hack-and-slash gameplay and nice looking graphics are accompanied by enthralling story by R.A. Salvatore, great soundtrack and top notch voice acting. Action-RPG fans get another gem to their precious collection.

lackoo1111: People still belive in the metacritic shit ?
With personal developer ratings, it's about to get even uglier.

Kunovski: looks similar to Rune and Enclave (but what's with that camera looking at the heroes from right side, not from behind???), is it close?

I've also read something about horrific controls... could anyone tell me something about them? as I'm quite interested in this one :)

Dragobr: It's actually pretty different. It's a beat 'em up, not a third person action-adventure. You will know what to expect if you ever played The Two Towers or The Return of The King, based on the movies. I thought it was pretty decent.
oh, it's the push-A-plus-C-plus-Left-20-times game... ok, thanks, nothing for me :(

Okay, I love how they use the dragon in the first part, the characters and story is doing absolutely nothing for me.

Ah, well. Hopefully the sale this weekend will have some titles on my wishlist instead.
it's kinda good
never heard of it, looks interesting.
that was the first game I sold instantly on ebay after I played until end of level 2. It is a miss for me.
Yeaaah.. not getting this for $9.99.
looks like a average game, kinda over priced specially when the game has no multiplayer...
you know it kind reminds me of trine hmm 3 chars

I bought this back when it first came out and promptly never played it.
It still remains unplayed to this very day. I had Steam Syndrome even back then.
Maybe good for a 2€ promo
I kind of wanted it since release, so i'm glad it's here.

But, actually, it probably could be 5,99... just my opinion, no offence GoG.
Does anyone know if this game has any RPG elements or is it a purely action hack-n-slash in a fantasy setting?

it is mainly action hack&slash with a bit of story.
You can improve your heroes, but is really basic.
Trolls...

I know, not really my favorite genre either. At this price, I'm not even wishlisting it.
