CaptainGyro: I'm not worth my salt because I don't get it. Is it the green triangle thing right around the aiming reticule?

AFnord: Does this ring a bell? It is nearly identical.
Never played either of the games, but that's pretty awesome that it's in there

I love this one.

Oblivion is an awesome game. I have Quarls Texture pack installed and it looks like something that has only just been released in the last few months. Epic game, oly thing I dont like is during the main quest line when all the gates open and you systematically have to go to each town & city and close each gate to continue the story. Shivering Isles is amazing expansion also, one of the best I have ever played.

Screenshots don't do justice to how much the game is beautiful (in a dark, dead way).

I'm actually proud I finally got the game working as I wanted. I have gotten rid of level scalling, my character needs to eat, drink and sleep, I got myself a companion Vilja (who was quite appreciated by none less than great Terry Pratchett himself. Yes, Terry Pratchett plays Oblivion, or at least used to,) mod for unique landscapes which adds stunning scenery, and, just so it's not that simple, I got damn sunrays working exactly the way I wanted (not INYOURFACE like in most games, they're subtle. Another screen of what I mean.)

So yeah, Oblivion was pretty good when it was released, and it's bloody brilliant now.

edit: Oh right, and that mad thing that lets you look out of the windows from interior and see surrounding architecture. That's amazing.

Yep, screenshots of STALKER actually never, ever catch how beautiful that game can be. You just have to see it.

Should do one highlighting the excellent lighting and rays. They did a great job naturalizing it.
I have loads of shots of Clear Sky and also Pripyat with the complete mods. Thing is though, due to the high res I would have to downscale the images as they are to big to upload and it would lose quality. I have the screenshot from Clear Sky with all the Stalkers round the fire and it looks amazing. The first Pripyat one was a huge electrical storm and the light shafts and everything in the sky looked awesome live while playing. Will see if I can trim some of the edges down on the Stalker shots so they are smaller than the max size instead of resizing them.

Yep. It is pretty clear that the makers of Hard Reset were big fans of many older games, System Shock in particular. You could find the Tri-Optimum logo on a lot of different things that had to do with one of the major corporations in that game, which was a nice homage

I might be comming back to you, for how you did it. My modding attempts to Oblivions always ended with 10+ hours modding and 2 hours gameplay and an angry uninstall...

Well you won't be the first one I've helped with this, so ... Gladly :D But add me on Steam if you actually wish me to be responsive (Well if you have Steam and didn't add me already. Steam name Fenixp.)

edit: grammar

You probably are already using it (wouldnt want to insult your intelligence) but I must say that the easiest way to mod Oblivion is using OBMM, not the inbuilt esm file manager as it shows which mods are compatible with each other and the ones that arnt. Also makes it much easier to activate / deactivate each mod as well as deactivating certain bits of mods that create compatability issues.
And i nearly forgot, but Just Cause 2 is still the best looking game i've played (along with Witcher 2)
Nice topic

An old Stalker Cop screenshot

Actually, I'm quite surprised that this picture is still online.
