We didn't choose the thug life. We've been blessed with it by fate.

Omerta: City of Gangsters, an organized crime simulation that will let you dominate 1920s Atlantic City as a mafia boss, is available for pre-order on GOG.com for only $33.99. That's 15% off the regular price! The offer ends on Thursday, January 31, at 10:59AM GMT, when the game is released.

Omerta. Remember the word. Back in the day, I wouldn't have to lay it out for you, kid. Everybody knew how it works, even a complete cafone. You don't talk to the law. There. Easy as that. Anyone who talks is a rat. And a rat deserves to be popped, just as any vermin. So, whether you are a made man, a goodfella, a wiseguy, or just a thug, you live by that one simple rule. You never talk. Even if the coppers ask you to rat out your worst enemy. Even if by telling them something you could easily wipe out your whole competition. You don't do that. You just don't. Unless you want to end up like Eddie the Eel. Funnily enough, it turned out that he couldn't swim. At least not in the concrete boots he couldn't. But I digress, kid. There's really just one thing you need to remember: Omerta. As in: shut your pie-hole. Capisce?

Omerta: City of Gangsters brings life to the prohibition-era Atlantic City, where you struggle for power against the law enforcement and--most notably--other mob families. It's a multi-layered urban simulation complete with turn-based tactical combat. You're an aspiring gangster slowly recruiting a gang of partners in crime, working your way up the criminal food-chain, and hoping to--one day--become the Capo di tutti Cappi, the boss of all bosses. With over 15 hours of gameplay in each unique playthrough, 20 detailed territories to claim as your own, and a cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes Omerta: City of Gangsters is the organized crime simulator we've been waiting for!

Pre-order Omerta: City of Gangsters before Thursday, January 31, at 10:59AM GMT for only $33.99!

Oh, by the way--since this is a pre-order, this technically doesn't count as our 500th release. You'll have to wait for that till tomorrow, and there's a good reason to visit as then, as we have something special planned to go with that milestone.

But now, back to Omerta:

There i was thinking this was the 500th game addition. But as it's a pre-release, it doesn't count yet. Lol, was this GOG being clever again ;)

The dawn of a new age....
To be honest for a 40$ title, it looks pretty bad.

Lol, cheesy but funny at the same time. Nice joke.
Hmm, sounds interesting. Let me see what that game looks like, I'm sure the trailer can tell me more abou-
"This video contains content from UMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

So I guess I am not allowed to watch advertisement now? I can keep my money if you want me to...
Wow, unexpected. Frankly, I didn't even think about a purchase while I saw it on GMG and Steam but seeing it here put a bee in my bonnet. I'll watch out for purchasers' reviews.

The http://www.gog.com/catalogue]
games catalog[/url]
shows 500 games available, so...

About the game: I love that genre and the setting, but there are still enough games around like this. Without not knowing the game, what makes it special in comparison to Chicago 1930?

Edit: Btw, the video on the gamespage isn't available in germany due to licensing issues (content from umg) .
