zasrakh: Why such hatred? I wouldn't personally buy that, but I think it's fitting a spot that still doesn't quite exist. Portable PC gaming with decent controls. It definitely isn't made to compete directly with gaming pc. Smells like rich kid's toy, however this kind of technological advancement is never bad for anyone.
Kinda what I was thinking.

Make the handles / controls removable, add a kickstand for the screen, and part of the potential ergo problem is solved.

The handles won't be removable...i'm calling it now. Also battery life will be 2 hours max.
Why only two hours?

Um, I7 tech? That and all the features it supposedly has lead me to believe it won't be much longer than that.
I have a 17" Dell XPS i7 that gets almost four hours on the Intel GPU. Doesn't sound any more feature-laden than a mid-to-high-end laptop.

Edit: either way neither of us is going to buy one, should it make it to production, so meh.

Barefoot_Monkey: Sort of like this?
Indeed so - or this - number 80 writes itself...
Razer, please stop trying to "save" PC Gaming.

zasrakh: So, if I wanted to play PC games while being outside the house, which device would be better and cheaper alternative? Laptop with a wireless controller would be option, but it wouldn't be so convenient, and maybe not so much cheaper.
I use a HP (aka COMPAQ) Mini 311 Netbook & a mouse... it's portable enough for my backpack and plays most of the games on here as it has a nice geforce chip & a battery life of 4-6 hours whilst gaming. It usually goes in my backpack with my clothes. Otherwise I take my PSP which has a great selectinon of quality games including a nice chunk of PSone back catalogue and is cheap nowadays or my mobile phone which runs a selection of emulators nicely (naughty I know.)

Razer is also developing this which is probably a better portable alternative: http://www.razerzone.com/switchblade

The price is around 1000$. Also, it's basically a concept for now, they wanna see how much success it would have.

Of course you forget the smaller form factor of the fiona(and possibly smaller/lower capacity battery it contains.). ;)

To increase the battery life they could install a device that would generate electricity if you push the handles closer together and back out repeatedly. Shouldn't hurt the current ergonomics much :)

Better yet, put a giant solar panel on the back of it(with their logo in the middel of course) and have players hold it above their heads to charge it as they play.

Handles generator PLUS solar panels PLUS a methane-powered generator with a convenient tube to be plugged into... Oh, there must be a port for a hat mounted windmill generator too.

Maybe add a cable that snakes down your pant leg and uses pressure and movement from feet to generate extra power to be safe?
