, a dark and disturbing adventure from the makers of [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_cat_lady]The Cat Lady, with a storyline shifting from nightmares to reality and back in an eyeblink, is available on GOG.com for only $4.99.

[url=http://www.gog.com/game/downfall]Downfall begins in the Quiet Haven Hotel, that was supposed to be a one night shelter for Joe and Ivy Davis. But things soon start to go wrong. Ivy's panic attacks get worse and soon she disappears. In the morning the hotel has changed. Nothing is what it seems anymore. Joe is left alone, trying to understand what is happening, trapped between reality and the nightmare. Seems like the curtain between the mundane world and the twisted realm of horror ruptured, and nothing stands in Joe's defense as the swirling tentacles of darkness reach in to get him. Is there any hope to escape? From writer R. Michalski, creator of The Cat Lady--this is Harvester Games first and well loved adventure game, originally released in 2009. Original music, thousands of lines of dialog and point & click interface provide the perfect 2D adventure - dare you drop in to Quiet Haven Hotel? With strong language, scenes of blood and violence, this game is not suitable for players under the age of 18. MP3 soundtrack included!

Dare to face the unstetteling reality presented with simple means, but great power in Downfall, for only $4.99 on GOG.com.
I was just considering getting this from Gamersgate, since I was playing The Cat Lady; I will instead get it for half the price and with Win7 compatibility guaranteed. Good timing, guys.
A very brutal, disturbing game with original graphics and great music. The story is enormously complex and multilayered - it's a real mindfuck for my taste. Great to find it on gog now! It deserves its place here.
Lol, when I saw these weird inconsistent visuals and clunky animations I instantly had to think of The Cat Lady. My mind is a little blown because the amateurishness of Cat Lady made it seem like it's a debut. It's weird to see that several years earlier they already made a game with the exact same quirkiness.
I never heard of this game so my first thought on seeing the title was that someone had made a game based on the movie. I wonder what such a game would be like.
Finally it's on gog :) what an amazing game! Time to play it again :D
Personally I thought of THIS
high rated
Thanks GOG! And players for their support. We had no intention of bringing Downfall to GOG but you folks did so there it is :) It's exactly the same version as Screen 7 version, 1.4. And yes the trailer is crap, no denying that - there is another trailer out there, this one a little more mind bending - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHGmFxY_vDM. Regards!

JudasIscariot: You have failed me as a giant zombie cat. :P

Novotnus: Deadly Premonition has giant zombie dogs, not cats :)
You would know that if you finished it :)

BTW, I thought about changing my 'Giant Zombie Cat' to 'Stinky Agent' to celebrate Deadly Premonition GOG release... but I like my avatar and signature too much :)
I haven't finished it yet because I keep getting all these GOGs to play...like Downfall today :D
Thankfully, this is one for the wishlist.

In that case all I can say is... enjoy your stay in Quiet Haven.
I just typed an advice... but then I deleted it. If you get stuck, you know... :)

I remember seeing it on the wishlist long before The Cat Lady came out :) Still, sorry for nagging both GOG and Mark about the game!

I'd call it bringing to light another game by the same author of another game :)

Good :)

Also, I am totally digging the raw art style used in the game. I am busy collecting the oddest things but I am loving the visuals. Not sure why, maybe the general aesthetic of the game brings back that feeling of the 90s :)

Played Receptionist's little game? There are some really insane visuals near the end.
Also, PM'd you something :)

I am too busy going through the "collect everything not nailed down" phase of most adventure games :D
