Thanks for this GOG; I am a massive Spellforce fan. Now I can pick up this via GOG instead of Steam.

Grargar: Lol? Where is Faith in Destiny? To tell you the truth, I expected this expansion to be exclusively Steamworks just like Faith in Destiny. Seems I was wrong.
You're not the only one who's surprised. I was in an electronics market in Rostock today and noticed this sitting on the shelf. I was ready to take one look at the box and snort indignantly at the Steamworks advisory, only to find...that there was no Steamworks advisory. The retail version seems to be free of online DRM.

The retail version is DRM free (same version as the GOG.com one).
Thanks Nordic Games and GOG for this one!

Nice to see that the SpellForce 2 universe is finally coming to an end, and is not forgotten!
The actual week end promo is a good one for any one who hesitate to try SpellForce... (But why no news, today???)

PS: Still waiting to see The Guild 2 here ^^ (and some old Dreamcatcher games, like Pax Romana - without the horrible Starforce in it - if Nordic Games has the IP now)
And most of all, any plans on SpellForce 3 now? :p
Will there be french localisation of the game, like it was for first releases of SpellForce 1 and 2?
(And will there be here french language back too for those first SpellForce game on GOG?)

jorlin: 18 dollar for a game expansion? You must be kidding. Pass.
Your on good old games here, appealing for good old expansions.

tfishell: Not related to Spellforce 2, but I want to encourage Nordic to release on GOG.com whatever older games/classics they don't currently have here, especially whatever classics were acquired by THQ, like http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/titan_quest. ;)

ThomNG: I cannot say something on new releases or discussions behind the scenes but maybe February will be a good month if everything will go well :)
Hell yeah, thanks! ;)
25 h of Spell Force? consider me intrigued.

I never did finish Dragon Storm, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the heavy slant towards RPG mechanics in 2 (Runes as a concept were much, much cooler than "dragon blood").

However, I'll probably give this a go at some point, I've had a lot of fun in the lands of Eo.
