Theta_Sigma: I hope they don't, for the sake of those in areas that are stuck with censored versions. I mostly meant the option is there and I find it a dangerous precedent for Valve to set by having it there in the first place. Oh well, in all likelihood I'm just being paranoid...hopefully.

If the game uses those "lovely" settings, I don't think it will be Parker or Stone responsible for it, its not their style. Ubisoft and Comedy Central on the other hand ><

Yeah, it I didn't think either of them would pull that kind of a stunt. I am rather hoping that the game comes to GOG so I can get it here rather than Steam. I kind of doubt it will, but one can always hope they try to diversify their market as much as possible.

Would be my instabuy here as well, but if it goes on Steam whether I get it or not it would involve installing crapware on my computer.

Yeah, if it's Steam only then I'm really hoping it's just Steamworks and nothing else I'd have to deal with. Frankly with how big Steam has gotten I am honestly surprised that they haven't dictated a "Steamworks only" for products available through their service. Oh well "what can you do when you live in a shoe" and all that.

Just going to state that for those worrying about this getting the "AllowCrossRegionTradingAndGifting No" flag. Don't. As far as I can tell, the flag does nothing. As an example, Castlevania 2 has that flag set, yet I was able to get it gifted from the UK without problem, despite the game being restricted here (reason for restriction = Japanese publisher).

So the likelihood is, that even if it were to get that flag and there are indeed regionally censored versions of the game cross region gifting is still going to work. As for whether there are regional variants, I have no idea. Valve pulled it from the store here as soon is got a price. Ubisoft when asked why it was removed have said they don't know, and that they are "looking into it" (which usually means, we don't know, but tough luck).

Preordered from GetGamesGo a) cause it was 20% off and b) hopefully they'll supply a ROW/US/UK/EU key so I don't have to put up with crappy Australian censorship
