Well, I finally finalized all the purchases I wanted to make during this sale and it ended up being just over 30 different games. I don't know if this is normal because I have never bought this many games at once but I hit process order and all the icons started spinning and are still doing so after about 10 minutes.

Did this happen to anyone else? I guess I'll see if it goes through when I get back from the store.
Sometimes it takes a while.

But more to the point, there's no such thing as too many games!!
Steam and GOG sales are like that, when you buy so many games at once it can be overwhelming, just go through it at your own pace and enjoy it

On an unrelated note, Gum from JSR is sexy as hell

You should see my list of steam games.

I guarantee it's nothing compared to some. Just quit worrying about how many you have, if you're not spending cash you can't afford, just appreciate that you can have an extensive library from which to pick anytime.

I could send you a picture of my room, my GOG shelf or the steam game list as you mention. But whatever the pissing contest we enter, the fact remains.

There is no such thing as too many games.

+1 for making me laugh with that comment
2010 and 2011 sales. In 2010, I bought every game that looked interesting, and in 2011, I bought everything else. Now sales are boring. I guess, serves me right.

You got that right. It was painfull when I had a 20GB/month limit.
It would take me years to play everything I bought in 2012 and couldn't play because I was overseas. Yet I know for sure I will still line up to buy more games next sale and the new releases coming in the next few months.

In short we're all stupid addicts.
I more or less resisted all the sales for awhile. I'm not sure what happened, but I grabbed both witchers for 10$ mostly for the sound tracks. Then I got HOMM3, and POP2008 because I wanted them and didn't want to pass up 50% off. Then there was the indi platform bundle. I was partly interested in Snapshot, which I immediately rebought on the Humble Bundle 7 since it had linux versions of it and Grimrock which I also already had and works just fine in wine. I could probably count the build a bundle which was recent enough to be sort of in the season. Then I also got the Humble THQ bundle which some kind soul gifted as a booster for loosing my job. Yes I have no job, I don't have windows, and even if I did the video card I'm currently using can't run half of what I just bought or received. Yet somehow I still managed to grow my collection by an absurd amount.

I'll never play them all, and it was probably bordering on irresponsible.
A friend once called me a game whore, and I don't think there is any real use in fighting the title.

Top pick of the litter so far - Shank2
