This has been tried with varied success many, many times. Some of the better entries are okay, but Pokemon is a juggernaut with a cartoon series and theatrical releases to back it up.

One does not simply "make" a Pokemon clone!

K, gonna out myself for some flaming: Tomb Raider. I'm actually really thrilled with what I've seen so far.

i will be getting that on xbox, so me and K can play it together. I also fell out with some of the key bindings in later games.
