Dear Friends

My whole posts here are in such mood, because I'm Polish and I am ashamed because my countrymen cannot solve a simple problem.

Best regards.

guestman: Yeah, BioWare is horrible, I can wait for my patch. I didn't play more than 10 minutes of the game and I am still in the first tent. The game is running fine, but I want to play it with the patch, just in case...

m0ndarin: If you have GOG version, go ahead and play it. The game has to be beaten twice anyway, for there are two completely different paths (Act II-III).
I wish I had the GOG version, I heard it runs way faster, but I'll just wait for the patch. Probably I play some Witcher 1 again. It runs like a beast on max details.

You should be proud of your countrymen for making this game and not ashamed for delaying patch for one day

It seems that you are indeed ignoring me..
I am just gonna say one last thing!
Your apparent mood just confirms that you are unfortunately spoiled and atop of that you are also bragging...
Not gonna get you anywhere...
Just saying!

I think it is probably senseless to reply as others already did so BUT
I think you should be proud that the recognize that the Patch needs more work and delay it, instead of releasing it prematurely.

The only thing I am a bit annoyed about is that they didn't recognize that they should also support non 16:9 resolutions BEFORE the release :)
@Vamet: All problems are simple if you do not have to fix them yourself.

It astonishes me that you claim to be Head of I.T., but you do not realise that you do not know enough regarding the exact nature of the problems they are experiencing to make the comments you are making.

They are good enough to make a very good game which, barring a few problems, everyone says has set a new standard, but they can't fix a simple problem?

Maybe it is you who presumes too much, assumes it is too simple.

As an I.T. person, you should know better. As head of an I.T. department you should be ashamed.

I'm a c# dev and I'm really, really glad I don't work for you.

I am really proud, because of TW1 and TW2 and TW3 in the future, but this situation which plays on our eyes is ridiculous and I am ashamed.
Best regards.

EASY mates...EASY...please.
So is the patch comin in a couple of hours... or are we talking days here?

I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with you.
That's all I want to say to you. I am not Head of IT Department, because of my beautiful eyes. I am not ashamed of that fact.
It's very simple way that you all categories of work put in one basket and call it IT.
I don't need South African workers at the moment. My Polish countrymen hired are very good workers, better then me, ehehehehehe :) So maybe next time :)
Best regards.

Sincerely

@Vamet:

If your workers are better than you, perhaps you should get them to comment instead. They'll probably not jump to conclusions the way you do.

Maybe you are right, but every human being, even if it's only Head of IT Department, may have own opinions, do you agree with me? Maybe I will be a good customer, when I will pay for something without good support and say something like: "Great job! There is no such good dev team on the whole universe". Maybe I should say: "Polish Developers are the best of the world, you should learn from them!", because I am Polish? :)

From one year from now there will be Euro 2012 :D ...in Poland :) I hope so, that this event will be more prepared than support from TW2 :D ...or you will try to go by train to watch your favourite team (not yours eXisor - you are not European), and there will be information: "Your train will be delayed for 2 hours" and then the best information you may hear:

YOUR TRAIN WILL BE SOON... ROTFL :D

Best regards.

I wonder if Canadians are ashamed because there are issues with Dragon Age Origins that will never be fixed, like some bugs and expansion incompatibility with DLC and other stuff.

I'm really glad that CDPR is more like Blizzard. ('cept for WoW, never played it, never will, no idea how's the bug fixing for that) Never stop patching until it is fixed! (That's how Bioware used to be)

Blizzard is still patching Diablo II... Amazing service. There are very loyal fans of CDPR and I'm sure they're very well aware of that. They won't disappoint us.
What does this news mean:
http://en.thewitcher.com/community/entry/32/

Does this mean that the Patch is finished but can't be downloaded because of server issues?
