yeap, patch didn't solve the problem((
Same problems here since launch of the Game:
Game: GOG preorder download, and patched, actual version is 1.0.3

Computer:
CPU: I7/4770K;
GPU: ASUS GTX770DirectCU2 ,2GByte VRAM;
RAM: 16GByte DDR3
OS: Win7/64 w. SP1+DirectX 11.0
OS and Game installed on different SSD.
DualScreen (with different Resolution): Primary:NEC MultiSync PA241W (1920x1200), secondary FSC P19-2 (1280x1024)

Have tried a lot of the recommended Solutions: Playing around w. different In-Game-Graphic-Settings, completely (so called "New Installation") reinstalled different Versions of nvidia-Driver (352.86, 347.88, 347.52,..), reinstalled DX10/11, switched off sec. Screen, running Game as Administrator,...

Nothing of These has solved the issue: Game crashes absolutely radomly every 8-10 minutes to Black Screen, Sound/Music still playing after a short stuttering during the Crash, Game-Process (the remains of) has to be killed via windows- taskmanager (kill "witcher3.exe"). Doing so is not the way to play such an immersive RPG. :(

Yes I also tried all of these and nothing works. My problem is that game crashes specifically in combat.
There are a lot of people with these issues across the board. People try things and they swear it works for them as they can play hours without it happening. I could too and then after 10 hours, it crashed again. We just have to "oil" ourselves with patience and hope they fix this before the weekend. I suggest drowner brain in the oil for optimal patience.
I am still getting crashes but a different type. Used to be hangs that required ctrl-alt-del or even a hard reset. Now with the latest patch, it just crashes to desktop but doesn't hang anything else. The GOG Galaxy window is still up and responsive. Something changed but not enough obviously.
I have a Geforce 660 TI factory OC edition and I downloaded MSI burner and underclocked my GPU by 99 - and enjoyed the first part of my 2 hour gaming.
I hope that patches and further NVidia patching will make this none requirment. Tomorrow I will test with underclock and add some more goodies in teh graphics and see what happens and also if not underclocking by much will help or not.

Weird...

Exactly the same here... I also have GTX 660Ti OC edition and underclocking (by 100MHz) actualy helped me. I'm interested if underclocking by let's say 50 would help too. But right now i'm tired of testing.

I have GTX 660Ti also
But there were posts from some people with other cards
Sure. But also underclocking is not helping them.

Do you have OC edition? Do you have problems with crashing? What's helping you against it? (if anything)

Nothing help))
I've got crashes from the very begining. With 1.02 and 1.03
Win7 Maximal
Mine stopped freezing after setting frames from 60 to unlimited in game menu.

before that it would randomly freeze every 10-20 minutes. Using GTX 970 with graphics settings just on high.

So far with patch 1.03 (also reinistalled and checked the checksum) running borderless and unlimited frames and undeclocking my ASUS GeForece 660ti factory OC card Core clock by a factor or 99 in MSI Afterburner makes the game crash less often. It still do crash occasionally but I can enjoy gameplay around hour or two and quitting on my own - but it is still very sensitive going in and out of dialouges. cutscenes, and collectiong things and messing with several commands at the same time.
Like running and pressing MB4 for collecting herbs and stuff while continuing to run can seriously bug the game out. Still, it is fun and that it has become more of a think things through than button mash is good news.

But it is like running a rhinoceros in a china shop feeling. You are just waiting for it to crash and burn,..
I opened a ticket on CDProjekt website and here is the method they propose it didn't work for me but at least I have longest gaming sessions :

"Hi,

Please update your graphical drivers to newest available If this doesn't help please try following solution:
Open nvidia control panel.
1. Adjust image settings with preview -> Select 'Use the advanced 3D settings', click 'take me there'
2. In Global Settings set:
a) Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames to '1'
b) Set the power management mode to 'Maximum performance'
c) Activate Vsync in nvidia control panel
3. Deactivate Vsync in-game
4. Switch to unlimited framerate

Regards"

Maybe it will work for some people.

1.03 seemed to fix the inventory crashing but 1.04 has caused multiple hard crashes for me, it's so bad I have given up playing any further :(
I still have this problem, sent 2 tickets and none of them worked for me.One of them is ;

"Hi,

There are 4 ways to get rid of this nasty issue:

1.Download and Install Microsoft Net Framework
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=30653

2.Download and Install Microsoft Visual C ++
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

3.Download and Install DirectX
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=35

4.Download and Install the latest Windows update.

Regards,
Kuba Woźniakowski"

I hope this will work for someone.My system is;

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Amount of RAM: 8148MB
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Driver update-date: 5/12/2015 09:27:22, 15858728 bytes

Does anyone who play game via steam have this issue? I was wondering Does GOG Glaxy might cause this as well?
