zeogold: No offense to you, but, uh...why exactly have you guys not hired somebody who's ACTUALLY from the community to be the community manager? Plenty of people around here, tinyE himself included, have stated that they'd be perfectly willing to do the job for free. If not promote them to this position, at least open up some sort of assistant position. These guys have more time, experience, and motive than you and others do.
No, nope, nein. You're getting the wrong idea here, the community manager is the bridge between us and gog, someone that actually works for gog and works for things to get better around here, this isn't a title to given to someone to the sake of it, it's a paid job.
What the current community manager can do is actually interact to us, not pop in every 2 or 3 weeks to say something and vanish for the rest of the time, what the current community manager could do is create a thread to try to understand what is going on here and, perhaps, maybe, possibly... try to fix some of the problems?
