The new indieroyale bundle reminded me, to be added later:

this needs to be in the subversive category, I think. It mad me laugh at least
Bohm has finally some game information, including a gameplay video:

I must say, it looks very beautiful indeed. Mention Zen game experience, and I am sold.
And now for a Halloween treat.
Kairo has now been officially released, so it has been moved out from the 'in development' category. It is good 3D puzzler, by the way. Some puzzles are quite forward, others requires a bit of lateral thinking. The art style I like.
Adrift

A game about being on a boat, adrift, and, uh, looking around, and not being able to do much about it, but, well, being there.

Nice. For people who basically like, hm, being there. And stuff. Actually no, no stuff. Just being there.

Tale of Tales are apparently re-starting work on 8, which was their first project (from 2004, I think?) and it never got completed. I for one think this is good news indeed.

Wow, great idea of a thread and nice work on listing those, so thank you!!
Just found Gone Home. This may become a game to give Dear Esther a run for their money and also a shining example of storytelling as only games can do it.

It might be interesting to follow Fullbright Company for a little while, it is composed of Steve Gaynor, Johnnemann Nordhagen, Karla Zimonja and Kate Craig (you should at least recognise on of those names)
And Parallax, monochrome, multidimensional platformer. May be beginning to go into more mainstream games, but it may also be another example of how to use gamespace in new experimental ways. Will be interesting to see more of it and what they do with it,
