Before the moves are implemented,

Passing through the mountains, Lewendor is assaulted by a gobbler! Gobblers are temperamental creatures of the high places.

Does Lewendor:

1. Defeat the pesky foe.
2. Restrain him.

I restrain him, no need to kill that which may become an ally later.

"I lost mah head, I lost mah head, I donna'why I always lose mah head." The gobbler ceases his attack and does no damage to you. "Here, there, take an ammmmulet, pretty shiny ammmmulet, donna'what to do with 'et. Donna'think it makes up for it, but take it anyway be on your way, a merry day to youuuuu..." says the gobbler, handing you a magical amulet.

[must be examined after quest to determine usefulness. I keep track of all loot, no need to worry about remembering.]

The map looks stupid now, but oh well. Here it is.

Time for turn 7A (just this turn for now, then I'm off for a bit... but we've gotten very far!)

I think the BW is dead isn't he?

7A - Lew dart BL
7A - JTK Coat Poison and attacks BL, also uses Pilfer Potion if he can use two specials in a turn.
7A - Xir once again twitches while dying.

Thank you, yes he is. I reflected the move before he died.

Lew: 1d6 (4) + 1 = 5 to BL.
JTK: 1d6 (2) + 2 + 2 = 6 to BL. Coat in poison: +25% (1.5 =2) = 8 to BL.

BL attacks JTK: 1d6 (6) + 8 = 14.

Updated HP:

Lewendor: 8.
Jack the Knife: 20-14 = 6.

Bandit Leader: 24 - 5 = 19 - 8 = 11.

Updated skills/spells remaining:

1. Lewendor: Magic Missile (1), Minor Restoration (3)
3. Jack the Knife: Pilfer Potions (2)

Signing off now, feel free to take turn 8M. I think you have the bandits on the ropes! (Or the bandit, singular.)

Enclosed is the accurate map BTW.

8M - Lew moves NW
8M - JTK moves NW

And if you want to do the attacks if there's no random encounters

8A - Lew uses darts on BL if in range, otherwise uses Magic Missile on BL
8A - JTK attacks BL with Short Sword and uses Pilfer Potion
Here's what made me think I had to use Rage on a previous turn. I found it on the blog:

Level 1 Skills and Spells
Warrior: Level 1 Skills

1. Rage: Attack for an additional 1d6 damage. You lose 2HP. This is an attack ability, meaning you may not use the ability and perform an attack in the same turn. Uses: 1 per point invested.

-----
Now, kill the bandit leader that killed me after I was resurrected from the dead by weird forest folk. *twitches while dying*

Thanks. The wording will have to be modified. Rage really helped you inflict massive damage that turn!

:)
8M
Lew moves NW
JTK moves NW

Bandit Leader stays put.

8A

Bandit Leader attacks JTK: 1d6 (6) + 8 = 14.

Lew has put himself out of range of darts. Lew uses Magic Missile on Bandit Leader. 1d6 (1) + 1 = 2.

JTK uses Pilfer Potions on Bandit Leader. Potions detected, but skill not successful!

JTK attacks Bandit Leader. 1d6 (5) + 2 + 2 = 9.

Updated HP:

Lewendor: 8.
Jack the Knife: 6-14 = -8. JTK has fallen!

Bandit Leader: 11-2-9 = 0. Bandit Leader has fallen!

Black Brigade is victorious in 8 rounds!!!!!!!

VICTORY!

stoicsentry: <snip>
And on that note, JTK did indeed want to visit the village after the battle. If possible I'd like to accompany him as a fact finding mission.

And the best part about it all? The mage is the only one left standing! :D
The total loot from the corpses of the bandits comes out to 300 gold. That gold has been divided evenly amongst the Black Brigade. (I will keep track of loot, no need to worry.)

Each Black Brigade member gets 100 gold.

Lewendor discovers that the amulet given to him by the gobbler has no magical capabilities, but it is.... shiny. He sells the amulet to a vendor in the area and receives 50 additional gold.

Lewendor gets 50 more gold.

Would Xir like to travel to the bandit camp to see what he can loot? Or would he prefer to accompany JTK and Lewndor to the Nogfolk village?

Jack the Knife and Lewendor have decided instead to visit the Nogfolk village to honor their request for a visit.

Note: you can only do one or the other, since you must return to the Ringmaster. If Lewendor would rather skip his fact finding mission and go to the bandit camp, he is welcome to do that.

I'm going to the bandit camp. They must have stolen something good for the Black Brigade to have been sent to take care of them.

Just waiting on Lewendor's and JackTheKnife's final decision.

They may go to the camp with you or to the village.

After that, you will each return to the Ringmaster where he will grant you new training (a passive ability.) Because you were victorious, you are entitled to this. If you had failed the quest, you wouldn't get it.

Then I will announce the judge's decision on the GOG.

Then you each gain a level. :)
