"Kemuel. Can you keep me covered while I get close enough to fry them?" He asked
avatar
Nel-A: From the flash of Exile's lightening streak, Kemuel caught a glimpse of the Statue. The plaque beneath it intrigued him. However, Kemuel was keenly aware of his allies also, so with hushed tones he asked, "Gentlemen, would you prefer to make your own way forward or if any of you prefer I can guard one of you as we push on?"
Kemuel is now guarding Exile. (He has moved in Exile's direction.) OOC: Map updated.

Round 6 turns remaining
Rohan - move up to 3 spaces PLUS take an action ( perfect roll + increased speed)

"With pleasure, Exile! I look forward to the smell of roasted bandit!"

Kemuel thought back to his days in the military before the call to serve in The Ton. He had served in assignments guarding dignitaries and monarchs and he now called upon every ounce of his experience to guard the enigmatic Exile.

This wouldn't be easy. With so many archers they were both sure to take damage but nevertheless Kemuel clenched his teeth and focussed himself on the task in hand.
OOC: Probably be away for a bit, so I'll process the last move of the round, plus Arkades move (as requested.)

Rohan moves Southeast, Southeast, East. Takes action: Search for traps. No traps detected.

An arrow shoots by Rohan's head. The bandits are almost in range to strike!

The statue grows brighter as Rohan approaches. He notices a large handle on the dragon statue. The handle is disguised as a pair or reins.

He reads the plaque,
_____________________________________________________________________
"The typical dragon meal consists of approximately 1,000 pounds of meat. A dragon meal requires a great deal of space to prepare - several hundred feet, to be sure.

A dragon that breathes fire will use his own breath to cook his meal, whereas other dragons must resort to artificial methods to get the job done.

The food is cooked from the outside in. The outer layers are made extra cripsy, whereas the inside is eaten rare. The same is true when a Dragon eats multiple animals (or people) at the same time: he will make sure the first group is cooked well, then work his way to the middle where he will feast upon the rare specimens.

Some dragons like to play with their food, informing them in advance that they are about to be eaten. It is said that such dragons can taste the fear of their food as it is consumed. The question you have to ask yourself is: are you afraid right now?"

Arkades moves southeast, south, east. He picks up his walking stick.

Round 7 turns remaining:

(You are approaching missile/long range with the bandits. There is a possibility for success right now, though limited.)

Rohan - move 3 or act

Kemuel - move 3 or act (You should be able to continue guarding Exile if you don't move *TOO* far away, because the bandits fire missiles, so you have time to react.)

Exile - move 4 or act

Exile takes three steps forward(3 steps to the east) and begins to look over the field, remembering the bandits. He cast out a spell of flame(Fireball)

Exile took three steps east. The statue glowed brighter as he approached. He attempted to cast a fireball across the room at the bandits, but didn't have the concentration to do so, as he was on the move. (Try being stationery while casting it.)

Kemuel runs South once and East twice to try and get between the arrows and Exile.

"Really now, what is it with this dragon statue?! What secret does it hold?"

The statue glows even brighter as you approach. You see the bandit archers a bit better now, though one fires an arrow and it *still* misses you!

Rohan attempts to throw a flurry of darts at the bandits.

Rohan15: Rohan attempts to throw a flurry of darts at the bandits.
The great distance gives the bandits plenty of time to dodge aside, though a dart slides by Bandit (6), slicing him on the cheek, causing a measly 1 damage (OOC: but hey, at least you drew first blood!)

Rohan dodged an arrow.

Father Arkades read a holy blessing for Rohan. "There," he said, "with the strength of the Light guiding your muscles, your darts should have increased range!"

OOC: The roll for effect was slightly below average. Should last a few turns, nevertheless!
Updated on post 3: Rohan has increased strength. (Kemuel still has increased strength due to his blessing as well.)

Map updated.

Round 8 turns:
Kemuel: move 4 or act.
Exile: move 4 or act.
Rohan: move 4 or act.
Can I move and attack?
I so, I'd like to move forward 2 and attack the scratched bandit again.

No, it's either/or, ("move X OR; act") unless you make a perfect roll (due to your increased speed.)

Sorry :(

You might be at decent range now, though, given that Arkades has blessed you with strength (your darts should fly further.)

So, move... or attack?
