OOC: I moved you 4 spots south. You can automatically detect traps, to a degree (with advanced perception), but if you want to conduct a more thorough search, you'll have to use an entire turn on it (not moving.)

No traps detected. You spotted nothing new.

Map on post 1 has been updated to indicate your movement south (4).

Round 2 remaining turns:
Exile - may move 3 or act

Exile steps three paces southwest
Map has been updated on post 1.

The crates in this area are now empty. However, there crates in the other 3 small squares within this large square of the map, if anyone would like to check them out.

This heavy wooden door is locked.

Exile located the crate with the silver item, picked it up and examined it. Wiping the cobwebs off of it, he determined it was a:

Item description:
Level 5 Silver Buckler
Requires: level 5
This basic lightweight shield provides some protection with minimal expense to your flexibility and ease of movement.

OOC: You may 1) equip the item, 2) store it in your backpack (items), or 3) leave it.

Round 3 turns:
Exile: move 1 space or act
Father Le'Minz: move 3 spaces or act
Kemuel: move 4 spaces or act
Rohan: move 3 spaces or act

Kemuel, his curiosity piqued by the seemingly excess crates and the locked door, moves two squares south in order to get closer to the objects.

"It would annoy me for days if I didn't at least check this out. To be a Knight of the Ton is to be thorough and to leave no corner unturned."

He tilted his head thoughtfully as his eyes narrowed for a moment - recalling some distant memory, "Well. Wherever possible, at least..."
He lifts the shield onto his arm and checks the door before him to the south
Leaning heavily on his cane, Arkades stumped a few paces to the south (Arkades moves 4 spaces south). He glanced about, frank curiosity written across his face. "I have never ventured into a really dangerous situation before - at least not voluntarily. Strange, I'd have expected my legs to have rebelled and led me back to town by this point." He raised one hand and allowed the stream of light to curl a wispy tendril about his finger. Swirling it about for a moment, he released it, and popped his finger into his mouth. "Hmm. Manifested light - nothing like ectoplasm." He winced and cast a glance upwards. "No offense meant, my Lord."

Kemuel found 10 gold pieces and a Rope. He quickly pocketed the loot. There is nothing left in the crate here.

This door is untrapped. However, it is locked. You will need Rohan to pick the lock if you wish to proceed this way.

Rohan - move 3 or act

Rohan moved towards Kemuel, observing his surroundings with each step. (Left 2 spaces)

Rohan detected no traps. You are confident that this entire room is trap free.

Rohan raided the last of the crates, locating an unidentified magic talisman with a hawk on it. If you ever quest with someone of the Diviner class, or the Treasure Hunter class, he can describe the special properties of this item. Otherwise, you may sell it for some gold at the beginning of any quest.

There are no more crates left to explore in this room. The only thing left to do is decide whether to enter the southern door (locked, must be picked), or the eastern door (we don't know if it's locked yet.) Reminder: moving to a door ends your turn.

Map is updated, as is loot.

Round 4 turns:
Kemuel - move 1 or act
Father Le'Minz - move 1 or act
Exile - move 2 or act
Rohan - move 4 or act

Edit: Rohan - you are within range to pick the lock from your current location, if you choose.

Rohan pulls out a small leather pouch, filled with various metal rods of size and shape. After a few moments of searching he pulls out a key sized metal shaft with a dart head. He carefully inserts the pick into the lock and attempts to open the door.

Rohan picked the lock with stunning ease. It's as if the lock was designed by a toddler.

The door swings open to reveal the room to the south. There is one lit torch on the wall in each of the four corners of this room. The middle of the room is extremely dark.

The only thing you notice in the middle of the room is a golden statue set upon a pedestal. You cannot determine the shape of the statue. OOC: The location of the statue will be marked upon the map once this round ends.

OOC: Rohan has gained 2 XP. Updated on post 3. Anyone may now pass through this door as if it was not even there.

Round 4 turns remaining:
Kemuel - move 1 or act
Father Le'Minz - move 1 or act
Exile - move 2 or act

Arkades hurried to catch up with the group, stumping awkwardly along. He winced as his foot slid on a loose pebble, twisting his bad leg. (Move four spaces west).
"Smoothly done, Rohan. You made short work of that door, friend!" remarked Kemuel, impressed at Rohan's handiwork.

"And here was I thinking we'd be forced around.", as he walked one square south, towards the door.
