stoicsentry: It probably would be logical to make it so that either it's unavailable OR, it's laying on the floor and whoever moves there can grab it.

But, as this is the third of a best on three, I'll stick with the way we have done it so far.

Question: Which would you all prefer for the future: keep it as is, let potions drop where the character died, or make them unavailable to be picked up?

Rodzaju: I would vote to drop it where I died.
Anyone who gets there can grab it.

Of course, it's all rather moot, as I never die ;-}
Well, that's true. I'm wondering when that streak will end. It's getting crazy now. To my knowledge, no one has survived two in a row, and you're still at full health in this one. Well, maybe one of the others has actually since we cut out in Blue Team/Wanderers game 2.

I agree with you, dropping it makes sense. I will have to look into that. That is my first inclination as well. However, as the Sage class is highly focused on potions, it could put a huge target on their back: so I'm still open to the idea of "locking" them with the character, as we do with weapons/items/etc.

OOC: While we're waiting on the movement turn, has anyone been following Exile's antics with the Black Brigade? Seems he is trying to forge an alliance between the Wanderers and the Brigade. I wonder if a Blue Team/Cobra Division alliance may be next?

Oh, but a Black & Blue alliance would have been funny. Imagine the slogans they could come up with. LOL

OOC: Trying? Pfft. I think I MADE the alliance mate. :D
OOC: It's been pointed out that the order of the turn - skill, then attack, could have unforseen consequences such as knocking a player out of range for an attack using repel. That's now necessarily how it was intended, but the simultaneous moves thing is new for this game, I believe...

Until the game is over, turns will resolve at the same time. So the effect of the repel and the effect of any attack occur at the same time. In other words, it is not possible to knock someone out of range using repel currently. Perhaps in the future we will split up skill and attacks into two separate turns - for a total of 3 turns. It takes longer that way, admittedly, but it might be smoother.

If you want to hang on to any potions you have, you can do so. You don't necessarily have to throw it to a teammate

I think that resolves all the pending questions. Apologies if you do not like the way they were resolved right now, but I gotta do what I gotta do to keep it functioning. I don't have the ability to test this stuff out myself, really, so you're the guinea pigs. LOL.

When we get over to the forums, after this game, we'll open everything up for discussion and everything will receive careful consideration.

Movement turn 3.
Is anyone from Blue team still around?

Yep we're still here. Sorry guys for having held the game up so much recently. Hesusio is out for the week and Fexen and I live in two different continents. We've been trying to talk about our moves as often as we can. I apologize for having held the game up so much recently.
Everyone, the quest is temporarily on hold.

Please visit this thread for an explanation:

I will try to contact everyone personally. In case I miss someone, please discuss with your teammates.

Thank you for your patience.
