Boon and ED-E are game ender give him a sniper and 1000 hand loaded .308 ammo and watch him work XD

It's kind of embarrassing, but I finally figured out how to get them to use other weapons. What I still haven't figured out is how to give Veronica back her weapon if you accidentally take it.

Even better give him a supressed Sniper rifle. With his range boosted by ED-E's sensors and both of you crouching hidden you can massacre Legion troops wherever you find them and not gain any infamy with them.

I melee and Boone snipes, nothing better than that. For the Alpha Deathclaws and Mother, I snipe, he snipes.

After modding Gobi with a supresser I gave Boon my old fully moded Sniper.

Also currently traveling with a full party thanks to modding XD.

By the way if you are interested in a unique armor I recomend the Reinforced Chinese Stealth Suit mod.

Be sure to create a few seperate saves as you near the end, I read mention somewhere the other day of the multiple companion mod causing problems at the end of the game

Gobi cannot be modded, like all the other unique guns, too.

It can with mods. There is a mod that allows uniques to accept weapon mods.

It was intended to not be able to mod uniques because this would throw the balance over board. So where is the point in using a mod to give you the possibility to buildüber-weapons? Not that the Gobi, with .308 JSP ammo is not awesome enough without mods.

Because when you have finished the game mods allow you to have fun. While I don't use the unique mod as I think uniques should stay that way (Lucky is my faithful sidearm) I do use the Ranger Recon armor mod. I like the Ranger Elite armor (who doesn't? It's on the box!) but I aslo like not having BoS and the Legion shooting me on sight.

Mods are fun the Gobi mod also changes the scope to a PSO which makes the gun even more unique :)

The other mode I use, makes That Gun be more in line with the original FO1 & 2.

I going to start a new game where I will only use unique weapons and sell the rest.

Boone and Rex in the legion camp are awesome. I like how the hunting rifle is so effective. It's just a shame that they had to go and make it use .308 ammunition.

I found a mod that allows Veronica to level up in XP to you, as well as making her Essential so she doesn't die everytime some asshole takes potshots at you.

I just want to say this game is fucking awsome. Second playthrough and I missed so much the first time! I just found a random NCR Sergeant and he wants me to save his troops. YES!
She aint that good anyway. Cass with a Brush Gun, Raul with the Mysterious Revolver or Boone with the AMR.
