Another vote for staying here. It's almost only forum I visit and I don't need to go somewhere else. Though most important thing is it could lose some players and would prevet influx of new ones.

You play a role in pong, too. But most accept that's not the relevant meaning of role in roleplaying.

I got lynched for roleplaying, I think it's important.

Roleplaying is a broad term and can still cover mafia games, imo...as you play a character in-game.

The broadness of the term makes it useless, as that aspect of it can be applied to virtually everything game related.

Which is kind of a retread of what we both just said a minute ago. So let's drop it.

Mafia is more forum game then RP Game, there are other forum games (hell you can check Wiki) that have no RPing in them. And Hell like Taleroth said, you CAN be lynched for RPing in Mafia (Sorry about that btw)

I'm not sure how we can get more people to participate, but I think leaving probably would not help our cause. Maybe giving the link to this thread and packing a few posts with newbie material might help catch people up, and putting links to the signup threads here so we have an easy place to find them might help us in the long run, but we seem to be getting more new people as time goes on now...I hope...how many of us are there again now?

I would just like to add my voice to those wanting to keep the games here. I'm not much of a forum person, and GOG is the only place I visit or feel particularly comfortable.

Will there be a new thread created when the next game is ready for sign-ups? (and any sense when that might be, roughly?)

I'm waiting on Zchinque. If anyone else experienced in the ways of Forum Mafia wants to go over the game to review, it may just start faster.

One thing though, definitely useful for the dead people, is a discussion topic for the dead or those that didn't get in the game and don't want to be a replacement. It would be nice to enjoy the commentary when there's nothing else to do.
