nmillar: No, just commenting on how it could be read. Everyone is still a suspect at this stage.
avatar
Vitek: Yes, because with current activity level we don't have to fear we will get into time troubles at all. :-P
I am not pushing for lynch, I am pressing for posts.
With this in mind, (& bearing in mind the 36 hour rule) I'd like to hear from those we haven't seen for the last 2 days.

Typhoon & Violator:
Anything to add?
avatar
ViolatorX: 3 people I have doubts over as posted beforehand are fexen, orry and teleroth

Whilst I find it scummy that teleroth refused to claim when -2 I believe fexen is trying to snoop at the power roles and with the deadline looming I may as well change my vote to someone else I suspect

Therefore as the deadline is looming and a no-lynch really wouldnt achieve anything except potential town death

Unvote orryyro, Vote Fexen
avatar
nmillar: I completely agree, and apologies for not yet posting my analysis of everyone, but it's been a busy weekend and I kind of ran out of time. So, with the deadline looming:

Vote Fexen.
I wrote a nice long post and cocked it up with the reply using quote button :(. being now rather tired a quick elaboration

That post above reeked of scum by completely agreeing with me in mere minutes dropping the hammer when at l-1 rushed in to voting yes, panic yes deliberate hard to tell and not enough to prove that you are mafia as I have zero theory into why you could be.

avatar
nmillar: was a big part of the jester debate. Strangely, I don't think he actually cast a vote for Robbeasy
avatar
Taleroth: Because I sincerely thought he could be Jester. I'm new, not stupid. Unless there's something I don't know, lynching a person you believe to be a Jester is idiotic.
pot kettle black anyone?, I thought the same when you voted for yourself and I will be looking in to see if anyone influenced the jester card as a effort to save you

Im not buying it though teleroth[/b

Im really burnt out with a long working weekend and jesskitten and rod make my headspin with their essays so im going to save that for when I had some sleep and have some time to reflect on them(tuesday)
While I confess I personally thought my singlemindedness would have "Lyncher" written all over it, I genuinely believe Orryyrro to be scum, and have heard very little from him to disprove my thoughts on this. It is possible that currently, this is the only thing I really believe, and that losing this may make me snap a little.

Still - TwilightBard, you bring up a good point - there's a lot more going on I haven't been seeming to concentrate on, so I should probably attempt to work out my thoughts on reads from the other players, such as they are from my amateur and slightly off the rails point of view. Please point out any information that gives doubt to my thoughts here, as I may well have missed things.

Taleroth: Started off extremely uncooperative, but seems to have started playing slightly more thoughtfully. I can't really see it put together as a Mafia ploy, and... well, it has to be said that if reading the fourth game has taught me anything it's that someone can be uncooperative and single-minded but still be entirely right, so reading Town for the moment.

JessKitten: Reading Town, as she puts quite a lot of thought into her views - the only problem with her that I have is the very fact that she seems to be encouraging my thoughts with similar views and advice such as the encouragement of the strawman argument suggestion. The idea that I am the biggest fool the Town side has occasionally crosses my mind.

Typhoon45: Seemed to be leaning Mafia on day 1, though I'm not quite as sure from later posts. Could well just have been annoyed at his use of the Jester idea and went for the Gordian knot solution, so to speak. I know one of my posts against Taleroth was.
Still, I'll also give one more thought against him which puts him as still leaning slightly Mafia in my eyes (and, given previous complaints: Warning, insane rambling may be approaching) - could his reasoning for wanting the Jester role out of the way be due to an in-Mafia argument in which Typhoon wanted a different lynch but was overruled by teammates looking for the Jester? Linking this wild conjecture to my current vote, Orryyrro is one of the more frequent suggesters of the Jester... but I'm rambling by now.

Vitek: Does seem to make constant reminders of us running out of time, but I'm not sure whether this places him as trying to get a lynch or a mislynch. Seems to explain his reasoning for votes well (even if they are in the case of Fexen explained slightly later than with his vote, and in the case of me... well, against me... :P) and so is leaning Town.

Rodzaju: I'm a bit uncertain, to be honest - he does seem to have managed to get through to Taleroth surprisingly well, though I have absolutely no idea what this means. Giving the benefit of the doubt for now and thinking Town.

nmillar: I was about to say his logic seems to make sense, but wait a minute - you accuse Rodzaju of jumping on to the Orryyrro bandwagon, but at the time he voted for him not only was the game still in RVS, but he was the first person to vote Orryyrro - hardly a bandwagon. You've also used his name mistakenly in place of someone else's before - a vested interest in voting for him, perhaps?

ViolatorX: A bit quiet, so I really haven't had a chance to work him out either way - alas for the longer version of his most recent post, perhaps I could have got something from it. By the way, is that a mangled vote statement at the end?

TwilightBard: Again, seems to be thinking things through and giving logical reasons each time before he places his vote, and thus looks like a Town player to me. (Apologies if this one seems a bit brief, but I've been trying to piece my thoughts together for ages now.)

As mentioned, feel free to pick apart my reasoning.

You three haven't posted for I don't quite know how long. Consider this an official prod, to which you have 24 hours to respond.

It's two and a half days before sunset.
Holy, it's been three days for me? I was going to post in the morning, but I'll do so now.

Don't know what to think here, anymore. I liked Fexen, I like Rodzaju, and I think I'm beginning to like jesskitten. Typhoon said some things I agreed with on nMiller, so I'm looking that way.

I can't seem to find anything worth looking at in Vitek's post. And the only thing that caught my eye in Violator's post was him implying that I might be Jester.

I'm still inclined to look at people who lynched Fexen. -.- Which makes me have to kind of question my opinion of Rod. It did seem as if he might be fishing for a vig. But it's that kind of thinking that got Fexen erroneously lynched.
Well, looks like it's that time of the day again; when we all gather around to stick someone's head on a pike.

In an interesting note, I would have to agree with... myself, for this lynch.

Taleroth: He may have cleaned up his act recently, but he's had a whole night to confer with his mafia buddies on what he did wrong. Plus, looking at his play yesterday, it seems rather likely that he would have gone for the nightkill option to get rid of a possible jester. I thought he was scum yesterday, and in all honesty, I don't have any better leads.

Ergo, Vote Taleroth
Since he was very aggressive towards Robbeasy after the 'miller' claim, was a big part of the jester debate and got very defensive when I stated this before, I'll vote Taleroth too.
Can we please stop putting whole posts in bold.
It makes it very difficult to spot the votes.

To clarify this, Votecount, please

Yes, I had some of my facts wrong, which I'll put down to the busy week I had last week, running short of time and rushing my analysis (and misunderstanding my own notes) since I'd promised it to everyone ...

The facts might have been wrong, but the logic was flawless, damnit!
The "I hope you've got your hair well fastened on" votecount

Orryyrro - 2 - jesskitten, QuadrAlien
QuadrAlien - 2 - Vitek, TwilightBard
Taleroth - 2 - Typhoon45, nmillar
jesskitten - 1 - Rodzaju

Not voting: Taleroth, ViolatorX, Orryyrro

With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch. It's (a bit less than) two days before sunset.

No, I wouldn't have. As Mafia I would have left a Jester. As sort of a I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME option, if I were to be losing. Because that's how I roll.

Anyway, vote nmillar (I'm spelling it right this time!). The fexen vote was too suspicious. And I don't buy the "I was busy with mafia #4."

Taleroth: And I don't buy the "I was busy with mafia #4."
I wouldn't normally have bothered responding to this, but that wasn't the reason I used.

Saturday 21st May was my daughter's 2nd Birthday, so my forum time was limited. Those following game #4 will notice that there weren't too many lengthy posts there either in the week building up to that event since, as you can imagine, organising visits to/from relatives and birthday present shopping was a bit time consuming! Factor in her catching chicken pox at the worst possible time, and you can add sleepless nights into the equation too!
I caught you mentioning the daughter's birthday before. And I buy that element. But I swear you mentioned being busy with mafia 4 at some earlier point, to which I referred. If the birthday impact posts in mafia 4 too over an extended period, I can buy that.

The full reasoning was my daughter's birthday and using my limited forum time to post mostly in mafia #4, but let's move on, shall we?
Sorry I haven't posted, I've been sleeping a lot due to not feeling well, I'll post a more in-depth analysis of my thoughts later today.
