I'm turning 35 in a couple weeks and the thought is making me feel old. Yet I like remembering things from the past. I also wanted a light-hearted thread to follow on the forum. So here you go. If you remember any of these things, you are probably old like me. Please add your own!

"You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

Gobots (I had this)

Spuds Mackenzie

New Coke, Clear Pepsi, Orangina

Max Headroom

Having to get up and walk over to the TV in order to change the channel

Betamax

Was hoping to start off with more items but nothing else is coming to mind at this moment.

Ah, the joys of youth. So much nostalgia.

Flower Power.
Raleigh Chopper bicyles.
Bell-bottoms.
ABBA winning Eurovision.
'I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing' in that Coca-Cola ad.
The Wombles.
Space Hoppers.
Vinyl LPs.
The Adventures of Black Beauty.

Good times. :)

(If you haven't worked it out, I'm a child of the 60's) :P

Moonlighting, the original that defined male/female TV relationships for years afterward

The best spawn of the above: "Excuuuuuuse me, Princess!"

The horrible, horrible Legend of Zelda commercials (Worst. Rap. EVER)
Europe (the band)
Cassette tapes (I have a fond memory of these because I have a shit-ton of 'em)
When I was a kid, I was lucky enough to get the spare tv in my room. It was black and white and you had to turn a dial to change channels. Would have been between 25 and 30 years ago.
8-Track Tapes
Hippies
"It's 10PM, Do You Know Where Your Children Are?"
Vietnam
"I am not a crook"
"It's not illegal if the President does it" (which we seem to have come full circle on again)
Disco

Yeah, I'm old.

Is it bad that I am twenty-one and I recall the final three items? Guess having retro loving parents and plenty of visits to my grandparents with their old TV exposed me to that stuff. Also, when you refer to clear Pepsi, do you mean Crystal Pepsi? If so, I really wish such a thing existed today, I would love to try that stuff.

Actually the less I remember the older I realize I am.
I'll be 36 in April, so I'm just ahead of ya', Crow.

The 80s were awesome. I'll add a few more.

Mad Balls

G.I. Joe

Gremlins

The Wendy's lady - "Where's the beef?!" It got old quick, though.

Ghostbusters - RIP, Egon.

M.A.S.K. - it was Transformers meets G.I.Joe. Great toys.

Miami Vice - I was glued to the tv every Friday night for the adventures of Crockett and Tubbs.

Saturday morning cartoons - the 90s took the joy away. Never again would there be a good reason for waking up at 7 AM on Saturday.

Neon colors - I wasn't a big fan, but it was definitely 80s.

And I'll one more that most people probably don't know about...

Air Raiders. It was a Hasbro line in the late 80s that its own toys and comic book series. Didn't take off and was abandoned shortly after launch. Fun toys, though. I had a few of them. The weapons on the vehicles would use compressed air to blast the enemy.
Commodore 64
Intellivision
Big ass satellite dishes
Station wagons
Lawn darts made of metal
