MonstaMunch: It is a shame. 2D platformers are one of my favorite genres, and I've been spoiled with the awesome selection that has been available this year, but Capsized is just plain disappointing.
In the same price bracket you can find: Trine, Limbo, Aztaka, ARES, Creavatures, Death and the Fly, all of which are 10x better than Capsized.
Yumi: So death and the fly is actually good? It seems really interesting, but I haven't read/heard anything good about it. In fact every single review/comment says that it plain sucks. Its price used to be 19€ which is why with all the bad reviews I gave up on it, but i've just found out that they dropped it to 9.99€.
Also if you want, would you elaborate a little on why capsized is bad? I haven't tried it yet but it's on my "to buy someday" list.
btw there's also beep and tommy tronic, they're both on desura and steam. not sure if the undergarden and doc clock are on desura.
and holy smoke, why the hell did i not know about OIO? it seems like such an awesome game.
p.s. OT but since platformers are mentioned

I simply didn't get into it. From the moment I started playing, I didn't like the physics or the artistic style, which are the two main elements that make up a 2d platformer. It also seemed highly unoriginal.
Death and the Fly wouldn't be at the top of my recommended modern 2D platformers list, but I certainly preferred it over Capsized. I think I paid a few dollars for it in the sale, and it was certainly worth at least that much.
