I've been playing a lot of Deus Ex GOTY lately and I am beginning to understand why it is considered one of the best PC game's of all time. The gameplay feels so nice and smooth, the story is so immersive and it keep's dragging you in to play more. Your character is so interesting and has a great background story! I put 100+ hours in this game so far and I am not regretting it!
Thank you for this giveaway.
Currently playing Fallout New Vegas. Not on GoG, but it should be because it's fairly faithful to the old games.
Whilst it is limited by the Gamebryo engine, it is still a fairly enjoyable RPG that is full of references and uses background from the older entries in the series.
The dialogue is top notch, the world is well built, and whilst the gunplay does feel rusty, it is still satisfying enough, and besides, Fallout was never solely about combat anyway.

The Hardcore mode truly changes the game, and makes the task of surviving in the wasteland as hard as it should be...well, early game at least. I find that late game, your character becomes an unstoppable juggernaut, carrying 100s of kilos worth of ammo, weapons and supplies, and having enough skill points to hack, lockpick, built supplies and fast talk his way out of every situation. There was something like that in Skyrim, and I hated it. Fortunately, there are mods to remedy this, though it would have been nice if the game didn't require them.

All in all, it's a good entry into the Fallout series.

Good Idea. I shall be reviewing Ultima IV - Quest of the Avatar

What can be said that hasn't been: Great graphics, Amazing voice acting an diaogue, toppled off with the most original story ever-Instead of killing the main big bad guy who wants to destroy all life you go on a quest for self discovery and unity.- And if you don't care much for stories you'll be left amazed at some of the most intense battles on any computer RPG.
Happy unbirthday! Thank you for the giveaway, but I'm not in. I will, though, answer your question and post a picture of a native dish.

I'm mostly playing Wolfenstein 3D, the first mainstream FPS. It has not aged particularly well, especially its control scheme, the repetitive environments and the limited weapons. But, it can still be fun if played in small doses since the levels are pretty small.

Congrats!

Here's a picture of a local delicacy from this region in Finland I originally come from.
It's called black sausage OR black pudding OR blood sausage, not sure if there's any difference. In finnish it's "Mustamakkara".

It's yummy, period.

Oh, and I'm in! =)

Thank you for this giveaway. +1 rep!

As you requested, here are some of the foods we have here in my country:
1. That's souvlaki in Cypriot pita-bread.
2. That's sheftalia, a type of crépinette, a sausage without skin, that uses caul fat, or omentum, the membrane that surrounds the stomach of pig, to wrap the ingredients rather than sausage casing.
3. That's a cypriot cheese, called Halloumi. It is the only cheese that, even if you fry or grill it, it doesn't melt.

RaggieRags: Happy Unbirthday to you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdsZT7WKjW8
"A Very Merry UnBirthday" is exactly what I thought of too. GMTA :)

+1 for the UnBirthday Giveaway, CMDR_Flasheart

What am I playing? A list of things (on different systems.) I'm still finishing a replay of Mario Sunshine upstairs. I'm re-playing Journeyman Project 3 & Shadows: Price for Our Sins on the compy. I am always playing solitaire on my DS Lite..

As for food, I've been making a lot of Chicken & Dumplings in recent months. I make it completely from scratch sometimes as an easy throw-together meal other times. For the latter, when I have lots left-over chicken meat.. I can add it (diced) to 4 cans of chicken broth or Chicken Noodle soup (4 cans of water,) 3 cups of flaked potatoes, 3-4 cups of most any frozen or leftover veg and several sauteed onions, 1 stick of butter and (once boiling) flattened biscuit dough for the dumplings. When they are mostly cooked I add either a block or cream cheese OR a cream soup OR 2 cups of cream. Add shredded cheese if you want. Its incredibly filling and soothing. Great for fighting colds ;)

OT - what's the name of cake(?) and where can I get more info about it?
I'm in!

I finished playing Torment last month, it was an awesome experience. The storytelling was simply great and the character interactions/banter and especially their stories were superbly written as well. Can't wait to see how all the other IE games are =)

Thanks for this giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway, cmdr_flashheart! Please count me in.

A game I've recently played is The Raven - Master of a Legacy Thief. Overall it's a solid point and click adventure game. Really good voice acting and music. The story is interesting, though it does have some minor plot holes near the end of the game. Puzzles are on the easier side, but there's still enough of a challenge to keep the brain engaged. There were also some minor animation bugs/glitches, but nothing that was detrimental to the experience of playing the game. Overall I'd recommend The Raven both to adventure game fans and people looking to get into the genre!

In addition to that, one of my favorite foods is grilled kebab (beef, lamb, or chicken) served with rice. Yummy!

It's an Iranian dish and called tahchin polo :p It's not a cake but rice and looks yellow cause of the safran and egg yolk. These are two video's on how you make it. Once is done in oven and the other one in cooking pot (just make sure your cooking pot is non sticking). The red things are dried barberries (which is optional). You can choose chicken, lamb or turkey as your meat

Ah yes, the dried barberries tricked me into mistaking it for a cake.

Thanks for the info and links, looks quite interesting (I'm a rice lover) and I'll give it a try :-)
