Thanks for the chance!

Recently played on GOG: Time Gentlemen, Please! is a good adventure game inspired by the old Lucasarts classics, especially Day of the Tentacle. The graphics may be simple, but the gameplay is pretty challenging and requires old school adventure gaming logic to puzzle through. I'd say it's a worthy spiritual successor and definitely worth taking the couple hours or so to play.
Thanks for the giveaway.

Anyway I've pretty much just been playing Rune Factory 4.

RF3 pretty much nailed the mix of Harvest Moon and RPG elements. Admittedly I didn't play any of the earlier ones before hand besides Frontier, but I generally hear their execution was pretty flawed (particularly the Runey system in Frontier which completely ruins the game for most people). While RF3 smoothed pretty much everything out with improved combat and implementing a bunch of conveniences.

RF4's pretty much more of the same, which isn't a bad thing at all. A lot of the improvements or new features are small things IIRC, like being able to pick the mc's gender, separating out friendship and romance events for the marriage candidates, new event system, running a store counter, upgrading the town and unlocking stuff by royal orders, etc.. Haven't really played enough to see a lot of these though.

Also, there seems to be a lot more content than 3 and a bigger world to explore. Like I hear there's three arcs this time, and in just the first arc (which I think I still have a dungeon or two to go) so far there's probably about as much dungeon crawling in just the first arc as there is in the entirety of 3. And I like the plot a tad better

Main complaint is the cast is a bit blander than 3, but that's to be expected since 3's cast had so much quirkiness in one place that it risked opening an event horizon lol. Also trying to place furniture and getting it to line up properly is really frustrating. I hear the event system does get in the way a bit later on since you have to wait for random events to trigger for some things including the third arc, but I haven't gotten to that part yet.

Aveweto: ok since i didnt get to play much lately as my gf is sick and ive just administered her into the hospital ill post a pic and description of some food from the region i come from

its beef rollen up with bacon, cucumbers, onions and mustard cooked for a couple hours in the sauce its gonna get served with together with red cabbage and potatoes kinda mashed then rolled to balls and cooked in water for about 20 minutes.

I usually make that as christmas dinner for my girlfriend and me with some extra cinnamon and orange in the red cabbage, all in all takes a good 4 to 5 hours till its ready to serve.
Congrats, you win! Silesian dumplings are the bee's knee. Also, latkes.

Mini review of lone survivor (already posted on the gog page but it still valid right?

Lone survivor is a pure old school survival horror in 2D, graphics are awesome and the atmosphere is just amazing,
Foggy, very dark and creepy plus bizarre = pure win :)
The good:
*no unlimited ammo and just a handgun to use, you need to hide from enemies, and you can lure them with meat or use a flare to avoid them
*Everything you do change your ending, from killing the enemies to help npc or abuse the pills
*no unlimited or auto-regen health, you need food for health and you need to eat too periodically, you need to cook some of the food too.
*Great music.
*6 endings so there is a lot of reply value.(2 more for the director cut version!)
*Very scary and dark game with a great story too
*your home servers as a base were you need to save and sleep there, cook your food etc, and the mirror in your house servers a quick travel system.
The bad:
*a little bit short (6-5 hours) but with a lot of reply value !!!
*the map is a little bit confusing
Lone survivor is a very complex and deep game, a must play for any fan of survival horror!

Thanks a lot +rep
Glad to read about LS, thanks- you get a consolation prize! I'll PM you.
Congrats to the winners and thanks again cmdr_flashheart.

Momo1991: It's not my birthday either ;-p

Thanks for the un-birthday GA but I'm not in ;-D

Well it might not be from my country but we love this recipe - roast some new potatoes with sea salt, olive oil and fresh rosemary as a side dish and add a green of your choice to make a perfect meal for company ;-)
Woah, this looks awesome, I'd been craving lamb, actually. Thanks for sharing :]

edit: also, welcome everyone. Till next time!
