Almak: The only advice I can give you is don't tank, unless you're specked to do so (farming etc.). Paragons are support characters (in most cases). Assemble your party with that in mind. Always have some warriors (or dervishes) to tank for you. Paragons work best at range, so take that in consideration and put some distance between you and the targets. Other than that they aren't very difficult one you get the hang of it (which should be pretty fast) so just enjoy the game. :)
Cocytus: Unless you load up on major (why would you) or superior runes, a Paragon is completely able to stand on the front line. Being ranged, it's natural that you -don't-, but with an 80AR, a shield, and numerous buffs, a Paragon can certainly take some direct hits. Remember, Warriors have the same armor and shields.
Absolutely, but that is not how I played. And that's perfectly fine since what I described in the previous post is just my own play style (one of many possible). I saw people roll Paragons as a tank (and pretty successfully as well) but I myself have tried it and preferred the ranged combat to close range. It is most certainly possible though, I completely agree.
To be even more specific, the strategy I described is intended to complement the skill set I mentioned in the previous post as well (the first one illustrated with the code). That strategy and that skill set is how I played the game.
