Just in stalled Factions. Although my internet is being a butt now, but I have something on the way to help with that as well....
I have an old Factions game, and i've forgotten my account name (though I could probably guess it if I had the chance). How much patching would I have to do?
EDIT: Installed it, and patching seems to be going quickly (my internet has been upgraded since 5 years ago)
I'll join Wasteland of One, though I never got very far in this game
POST EDIT: ALL SET UP!!! Even remembered my name!
POST POST EDIT: Why can't they bundle the downloads together? I create my character and boom, another download screen.... at least I can minimise, etc..

Almak: I am so easy to convince when it comes to games, it's a little bit frightening. Watched the latest GW2 trailer and thought to myself "I should probably re-download Guild Wars" which I did yesterday. XD Not sure what I'll be doing yet (may be a couple of quests for my Dervish alt).

deejrandom: I added those On this page to my in game friends list. (BTW My guild is E.G.A.D. = Eternal Guardians Against Doom. We named it such so we could go in to towns and start shouting "EGAD!" randomly :))
Are you guys in alliance with anyone?

I added you
I'm Miyamato Usagi
How do I join the guild, and do I only joinj it in PvP or roleplaying?

waiting for eye of the north in the mail. :DDD
also, I'm interested in joining one of the GOG guilds..
I don't plan on playing guildwars until my cable service is restored, I'm running usb tethering on my g1.
To join a guild you just need an invite from an officer in the guild you want to join. It doesn't matter if your are PVP or RP; you'll be in the guild and get a cape to go with it. (The cape will have the guilds symbol on it.)
My internet is being stupid at the moment as well, but I have a fix coming in the mail. At the moment I can't play very well without getting some hellacious lag and rubber banding effect. On any online game, not just GW... Peeving me off something fierce.
Also remember that with a new install, you'll be downloading information for each area as you enter it the first time. So when you enter Lion's Arch for the first time, for instance, the game will download all the relevant information to your PC once. Then you shouldn't have a DL again for that area (Unless something like a an event is going on.)

It's possible to download the entire game before playing it. You can either run the game with the -image argument, or you can just let it sit at the title screen for several hours.
I play as Robyn Hart, btw. A spitting likeness of the guy from Phoenix Requiem. But now he shoots magic from his hands!

Another question
I'm an assassin, and finished the assassin training. They told em to speak to the other headmasters (I decided t talk to the ritualist). I finished that, and now they want me to talk to therest!! I really don't wantto do all that pointless training, can I got to the main island somehow?

Guild Wars: Trilogy, $15 at Best Buy for this week.
Good Deal? If it is, I want in on this whole GoG guild thing.

So u did the training for ALL the classes?
I had heard that the game could almost be played as a single player game, is that true? I have never played an MMO, and the only online gaming I do is on TF2. Either one isn't going to sway my decision one way or the other, since it is $15 I am pretty sure I am going to go get it tomorrow at Best Buy, but I am just more or less curious. Do I need somebody to help me out with shit or can I do my own thing and then kind of talk with you cool kids if I see you there. What I don't want is to be tied to a raiding schedule or any shit like that.

It can be played mostly single player, for a few "learn to play the game" quests you have to party up.
You will want to party up for later quests, but finding a party is easy.
Awesome, I am pretty excited to get it, pity I won't play it for a while since I have finals and then friends visiting over Christmas break till January. But still pretty excited to try it eventually.

Well, I decided that I would get back into this game after a long hiatus. Can somebody invite me into the guild? My in-game name is Buffalo Medicine.
