I just gave the trial a go to see if it would run on my computer, and the character creator let me down, I wasn't happy with either creating a badass character or an abomination on earth. I will give the women a go when I actually buy the game and see if I can come up with something.
I am still thrilled about the game though.

Which campaign(s) is everyone playing? I've got Prophecies and Eye of the North.

I prefer factions.

I am almost through prophecies, I have characters in Factions and Nightfall. I have also went in to the Eye of the North stuff a little to get the heroes for my Prophecies character.
I honestly am not sure which I prefer at the moment.

I prefer Nightfall, however I have played most with my Rt (and ironically I have yet to complete Nightfall with her).

IIRC only people without a guild can be invited. If you are in one, you can only get a visitor's invitation (with time limit?) to the guild hall.

How do we do alliances? Do you have to be on the same...uh..side? (Luxon/whatever) to be in a guild alliance?

Yes you do. Luxon is the faction of our alliance. If you're still up for it you need to be Luxon as well.

Nope, not confusing anything. If you have a cape, you're in a guild.

then how do I leave it?

Open your guild window with the G key, left-click the little icon left from your name and click "leave guild"
