Two things:

1) I bought Final Fantasy 3 for the ipad and been playing a fair amount over Christmas. Just finished the Cave of Shadows or whatever. I felt that the White Mage wasn't quite pulling his/her weight so switched her to the Onion Knight. The Onion Knight is really shitty, but I read that they will become very powerful later on (post level 92). The question is - should I keep her? At what level will I finish the game? Will she start actually chipping in at some point? The White Mage was infinitely more useful.

My composition is: Black Mage, Geomancer, Viking and Onion Knight.

2) I got my dream job a couple of weeks ago so figured I'd give something away. Feel free to enter for GOG of your choice (besides TW2 because I haven't started yet so still somewhat strapped for cash). You don't need to answer my question in order to enter.

Happy holidays to everyone of course.

+1 and thanks for the giveaway! :)

It's been years upon years since I've played the earlier FF games, but is it possible to have a rogue character or a second black mage? If I'm remembering the wrong game, those could be insanely stupid suggestions, in which case just ignore my suggestions. :)

and I'll give a shot at the giveaway. I must admit, I don't know what TW2 is, but if these qualify, I'd be interested in either La Mulana or To the Moon.

Happy holidays! And have a great new year.
I wish I could help you with your question, but I haven't played the game. Maybe posting this question to the Gamefaqs boards would help?

Congrats for getting a dream job! And thanks for the giveaway, I'd like to enter for Defender's Quest.
Nope, the Onion Knight is useless.
A white mage is a MUST, I managed to finish FF3 without the Onion and never had a problem. Curaja, Reflect and Esuna are essentially for finish the game.
You can finish the game without grinding, by the way. I finished it around level 80, but it was the PSX version, I don't know if the IOS version is the same.
By the way, I enter for 11th hour, and thanks!

I had love to answer your question but it has been a very long time since I played FF3. Congratulations on your dream! And thank you for the giveaway, I had like to enter for one of this game if you don't mind?

Zeus + Poseidon
or
Pharaoh + Cleopatra

Happy holidays!
I've never played the game, so I'm afraid that I can't be much help.

However, I would love Lucius if you decide to let me win anyway.
Not entering anything. Just here to congratulate you on the dream job :) I know how hard is to find and get it. Best of luck in there and thanks for the giveaway. As for the first question can't really help because I haven't played the game.
+1, not really sure about the question as I haven't played FF3 in years, and certainly not the iPad version.

EDIT: And if I win, I'll take Imperial Glory, thank you very much :)

Also, a little promotion in the Giveaways' Directory:

I'm afraid I can't help you, I've never played the FF series.

EDIT: Looking the GOG catalogue... :D

I only played the DS version and I don't think Onion Knight was an option unless you did online friend's code exchange or something, and I wasn't set up to do that.

I don't remember if I used white mage at the end or an upgraded version but did end up using 2 healer -types in my final party. The healing and cures are great during the bosses and just have to endure for the dungeon crawl. If there is a heal wand that casts free, albeit low-level heal spells, then that is what they spend their time doing.

Congratulations on landing you dream job! I would like to enter for Arcanum, please.
I wish I could help you with FF3, but I've never played that game...
Also, I'm not in, just wanted to say congratulations in your new job, and +1 ^_^
Not in, but thanks and +1.
And congrats on your new job.
