You guys actually did it. Amazing!
Again! Another game I own that I'm going to buy again!
Now this here, lads, this here is one of the most underrated, under-appreciated, and just plain forgotten gemstones of gaming that I can think of. Just promise me one thing: that you don't ever, and I mean never, play this game on easy difficulty. It just removes a lot of the depth of the gameplay. Outcast is at its best when the actual ammunition is scarce, and you are constantly outnumbered and outgunned, making combat something to be avoided whenever possible.
Outcast is a game I find myself coming back to time and again over the years; simply a remarkable, one-of-a-kind experience. I don't think any other game looks and sounds quite like it , and few other games can match the atmosphere; the feel of adventure, and the vividness of the worlds you explore.
Instabuy? Yes. Definitely for me. I would heartily recommend it to any fellow adventure and action-adventure fans who appreciate exploration and setting.
That it's a GOG exclusive at the moment is also a huge win for them, methinks. Congratulations are in order! :D

Voxel porn :-P
congrats gog. I say this because in my opinion this could be the most unique and rarest game in your catalogue. I will buy it here even though i have an original boxed edition, but to be honest i do not know if it works on my new pc's...
Very nice! Both the releases and the price. This makes them an instant purchase for me. Well done :)
I still remember reading about this game on forums eleven years ago. Same old story, really. I never bought it, since I didn't have the horsepower to run it, and years later when I did, digging up a copy was painful at best, and incompatibilities would have killed the experience anyway. So thanks, GOG! I finally get to play this one!
So, how many ini configuration files does the game have now? :P There's a lot of new hardware combinations out there since it was released back in 1999. Hahahaha. :D
Also, I just discovered this comes with the DVD edition extras too (Making Of and Outakes, respectively)! That's a mighty sweet bonus!

Oh by the way, if you can't find a key to open a wooden door? Try blowing it with a rocket. FUTURISTIC!
I have an original copy of Outcast somewhere, think it was packaged with our first DVD drive. Of course the computer we had back then could not play the game very well, so I never got to play it properly. I think I had fun playing it even with the lagg though.
A nicely written editorial from this site might get me to rebuy it here :)
I've nver played Masters of Orion, but I've heard nothing but good things about the games.
Finally its here. To bad I have to work.....but as soon as im home from work. It will be added to my collection.
Just have remember to stay nice to the elderly and help them to bed properly, and not forgetting about them to be able to rush home early :P
Just got it to see what the fuss is about ;)
Artworks file seems to be corrupted btw.
Edit: Outakes and making of, also look corrupted

riddler214: The most epic GOG release to date!! Instabuy! XD

to me the GK series and the Goblins series have been the most anticipated and thus most epic release on gog! :D
