Namur: Just got it to see what the fuss is about ;)
Artworks file seems to be corrupted btw.
Edit: Outakes and making of, also look corrupted

13:13 GMT+1 Time: It seems that we've got small problems with Outcast addons, give me one minute :)
Edit 13:14 GMT+1 Time: fixed:)

Oh man... Outcast and MOO2(+1) in one day? And both released at the lower price-bracket? Call me massively biased, but today is better than the entire "Month of Activision".
I'll have to dig out my CDs and see if they still work. If not, I forsee some new GOG purchases in my near future :)
It's still the same annoying resolution, but nevermind! I've swapped my illegally downloaded version for a legal one :)
Edit:
I have to say I am surprised at the pricing of Outcast, so kudos to Atari. I was expecting to pay $9.99 (and would have done...)

Thank you so much!, I have been waiting this for so long! I still own the original CD and I actually somehow managed to get it worked on my new PC last summer (before that it didnt work at all on my old PC or laptop), but it didnt work perfectly, for example I couldnt ride Twon'has =(
And what you say in the description is so true, exactly what I think. It simply is one of the best and most underrated games of all time, no-one can deny that!

Ok, thanks ;)
Edit: wow, that was fast.
Edit2: Yep, all good now. Thanks again, Coala ;)

Yep. Imo definetely best releases of this year (for now :-)). I waited for Outcast since founding of gog and one of top 'most wanted' leaderboard :-). Now only System Shock's can beat it..

I'm surprised; I expected this to be released at $9.99. This game ran rather poorly for me back in the day, but I may give it another chance now. I'll see if I can get the demo to work, I guess.
Somewhere, ExecutionerFive is sobbing uncontrollably. "It's a bait and switch!" he's wailing. "I wanted Beat 'em and Eat 'em!"
can you ride things now? and are other annoying old bugs a thing of the past?
Kudos on the price point! Both to GOG and Atari!

WoW! It's still around 8:40 in the morning here in Brazil. I didn't know the difference was so big. Even though I could check it anytime. Specially since I have a sister living in Poland right now. XD
Another instant buy for the price and the extras this is just fantastic.
I can't believe it's finally here! When I saw the "Don't Be An Oucast From Orion Banner" I thought , "Nah, this is too good to be true. They're giving us false clues". And then I see Outcast available on GOG for 5.99$!
I still remember I had a demo of Outcast that came with my boxed copy of Independence War (which I wasn't very good at, go figure!) when I was a kid. You had a massive environment available to you in the demo, but you only had a 1000 seconds before you had to restart. Me and my brother used to play that demo all the time, trying to figure out how much we could do in just 1000 seconds. Could we get enough money to buy ourselves a mount? How many of those bad guys could we kill? Could we get those vulture eggs on top of those spires in the sea? How far could we get? What were those temples? Could we kill an entire village of peaceful villagers? Could we kill an entire village of peaceful villagers AND their village elder? How many uses are their for the dynamite besides blowing up locked stuff? Good times, good times.
As a relatively young gamer, I'm not given a whole lot of opportunities to get all nostalgic. GOG has given me a few opportunities with Divine Divinity, Jagged Alliance 2, FA-18 Hornet, Earthworm Jim, the Fallout games, Knights And Merchants, the Oddworld series, Stronghold, The Longest Journey... And now this! Thanks again GOG.
Never played it, but seeing the love for this game and the price I'll definately buy it.
Oh! Don't forget to delete the game from the wishlist, as its now the 10th most wished game.
I want to see which one is now the 10th most wished.

Lol. And another one joins the party.
Awesome release, insta-buy for sure, thank you GOG :)
I knew it was MoO AND Outcast together.
And yes please delete it from the wished list, and delete also all the games that are already on the service (like Evolva, Messiah, MDK and so on).
so,how many of you guys stayed at home, just to buy and play this game today?
