wodmarach: You're kidding right? NV has some of the most rabid fans I've ever met... don't mention bumpgate
around them or they go on about how it was an AMD plot to trash NV(seriously had this said to me)
and how tests that showed AMD cards as faster were faked(every single damn release). Although
my fav is that the sub pixel polygons and invisible water rendering were needed in crysis2...
Guess I'm lucky I am not on that part of the internet ;-). I literally flip-floped through my graphic cards.
wodmarach: well mobile phones are heavily subsidised and unlocked phones are generally 2-3x the price of
locked.. so unless NV controls the content entirely... $4-600... if they have complete
control of what runs on it and can rely on game purchases probably down to $200-250
You can get an Acer Iconia 510 tablet for 380€ over here. A fairly well smartphone (Eg S 3 mini) for even less. New and unlocked. And, personally, I consider each of the devices better for mobile gaming than this. Mostly because you carry those around anyway. No reason to carry an extra device that is extra cluncky.
Nintendo and Sony still have excellent games on their handhelds, which is often more important than any technical hardware stuff. But
android games.
I could be wrong, of course, but so far I see no compelling reason to buy this. Especially if it is more expensive than current Vita/DS.
