I'm not familiar with the Desperados games, but could "fear the past" be Desperados 2? While the gog image is more dark red it would fit the area with the sun and the cowboy hat. Also the story in Desperados 2 is about revenge. It would also fits the pricing tags: Desperados 1 for 6$ and Desperados 2 for 10$


Edit: I used the cover from Mobygames, but you can find also covers with a smaller sun and some with a darker orange, which more fits gogs image.

If it was Desperados 2, they would give it with the first one like in the case of Alone in the Dark.
I think it would be Soulbringer.

I can't think of any game where you "fear your past" except Ultima VII. What about you guys? What games can you think of where you "fear your past?"

Not necessary. Gog bundles some older games (AitD, Battle Isle, Sierra Quests Series) to reach a price point, but they sell "younger" games (Empire Earth Disiciples, Blooadrayne) and some old classics (Gabriel Knight, Phantasmagoria, Heroes of Might and Magic) seperated. A good example is Might and Magic and Master of Orion, where they bundle the older (MoO1+2, MM 1-6) and sell the younger ones (MoO3, MM7, MM8) seperated.

Desperados is from 2001 and Desperados 2 from 2006, both are relative young (Desperados 2 also bloodyoung) and so very likely to be sold seperated.

I don't think that GOG would make two separate hints to one game and sequel.:P
We will have Desperados 2 and third part called Helldorado, but probably after that new wave of Atari games.:D

'Feel like a hero' - Dragonsphere?

Nice catch. And great to see this release, it's really fine adventure game.

As Atari owns Microprose, I hope we'll get in near future Rex Nebular, Return of the Phantom, and BloodNet. All great old games.

Dragonsphere is an awesome game. Sure, it does have one pretty annoying scene concerning fairies, but the plot is pretty solid.

Dragonsphere would be great - I remember playing it looong time ago (1995?) but I never came that far because my english wasn´t good enough.....

So, everyone's given up on guessing? There are still two games yet to be released....

Hm, I assumed that the Dragonsphere sub-forum was an honest mistake. A mix-up with Dragonshard.

My money is still on Indigo Prophecy (fear your past) and Demon Stone (be the hero).

I'm still hoping for something NWN2-related, though.

The problem is that the artwork for Indigo Prophecy and Demon Stone do not match the blurred images we've been given as clues. (Demon Stone is a closer guess, however, because it, at least, has the correct colors.)

I haven't been able to find box art (or any other kind of game-related art) that fits with the blurred images, so I'm pretty much clueless.

Could the next one be Silver? It goes with the "feel like a hero" theme, and the next box looks a lot like the attached image.

Edit: it has been said before in this thread, but discarded because of the artwork. But GOG is not following the order of the tips, so it might as well be it. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is.
