I believe he was saying that the titles of the games are reflected in the clues themselves. For example, the word "Dark" appears in the clue for Alone in the Dark, and a Witcher hunts "monsters" which are mentioned in its clue.

Following that method, we can guess that certain words (or their near equivalents) are included in the titles of their respective games.


What game made you dream of the stars? (look for star/stars/space/galaxy)
What game made you ride with the outlaws? (look for outlaw/outlaws/desperado/desperados)
What game made you fear your past? (look for fear/afraid/past/history)
What game made you go to the underground? (look for underground/underworld/subway)
What game made you feel like a hero? (look for hero/heroes)
What game made monsters afraid of you? (The Witcher)
What game made you afraid of dark? (Alone in the Dark)

For myself, I have doubts that the monsters reference refers to the Witcher.
EDIT: Just reviewed the press release, so there's no doubt about it.

Yeah, I would probably buy Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit to. And, I figured Dragonshard and Demon Stone would round out GOG's collection having everything that was on the Ultimate Dungeons & Dragons compilation.

It was outright stated in the live stream that the monsters one is The Witcher 1.

Yes, it was, and I missed that 15 seconds of the video due to real-life distractions. I've since gone back and re-watched it all, but I caught it too late to correct before you pointed it out.

If they get Indigo Prophecy I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Those are the only ones I could think of. The first Neverwinter Nights is already on here, and Steam also has the second one so I'm guessing it's on it's way to gog as well.

Maybe it is just wishfull thinking on my part, but those hints sound like they are about "famous" games.

Some of the games mantioned here are just a little bit to obscure to warrant such a big announcment (IG or Hero - X, e.g.). So maybe we are lucky and get Homeworld and the like.

But GOG beeing GOG, they might just exaggerated a bit with the hints ...

Not sure they will sell NWN2 for $10 yet though, it's $20 on Steam. I guess they could do just the main game and the expansions in a separate pack, but I doubt it.

Wow, I was trying to compare the blurry image to the boxart, saw the colours were the same but couldn't quite pick out what part of the cover it was from. But you can definitely see Cooper and Kate from your pic in that blur :)
