Since Alone in the Dark was one of these Atari releases, maybe "What game made you dream of the stars? " refers to Shadow of the Comet, which is another HP.Lovecraft inspired game by the same company that made Alone in the Dark...

They made AITD, Shadow and Prisoner of Ice while owning the rights to do "Call of Cthulhu" video games.

huma79: Does Atari own the rights to the original Doom? It's on their list on mobygames. And Doom 1 takes you to the 'underworld'
No, they just published some re-releases. All id games are now owned by Bethesda, who is not a GOG partner yet. I hope they will be someday though.

StingingVelvet: The rights to FEAR are now with Warner Bros., who released the original game on Steam a while back for $10. I would not be surprised if it comes to GOG eventually.

That said these were all confirmed as Atari releases, so many of your guesses, including FEAR, are a little off.
Well, Area 51 (the 1996 PC title) is an Atari release (according to MobyGames, anyway), so it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, maybe for the STARS one (because not only is it an alien invasion, but it is also the name of your team, even if it was slightly misspelled, STAAR).

Yeah, I will fully admit to being way off on F.E.A.R. and Homeworld, mainly because with the former I forgot it wasn't Atari, and with the latter, I thought that Atari/Infogrames helped out with that one when they didn't.

Sounds like a winner.

If Indigo Prophecy is the European version I will buy it. I'll probably get Dragonshard.
Is it just me or are the coming release boxes blurred? One of them looks familiar....I could almost swear one of them looks like the Homeworld box.

Unlikely. Homeworld's Sierra, meaning Activision, not Atari.
E.T.
I think some people are guessing it the wrong way.

The question reflects the title of the games, and not necessary the content.

Both
What game made monsters afraid of you?
What game made you afraid of dark?

represent the title.

Yeah, I thought it was all rather obvious, myself. There have only been a few people who connected "made you go to the Underground" with Ultima Underworld? Really???

How does "monsters afraid of you" represent the word Witcher? It represents the content in that clue, not the title of the game. Unless I am mistaking your meaning.
