tinyE: Since when is 'hypocrisy' a verb?
since el douchebag decided it'd sound intellectual to chide me for being "overly antagonistic"and claim things he has no knowledge to while he laughs at someone elses death.
Oh, name calling.

That's nice.

I'll leave you to that.

I don't care what your opinion is or how you opt to express it, but when you resort to name calling any opinion you have ceases to have any merit. There are a lot of people in here who vehemently disagree with each other and you don't see them doing it.

tinyE: Last time I made a thread celebrating the loss of someone (who was a serial killer no less) I got shit beyond shit beyond shit. I certainly don't want to come off as disrespectful but this is a tough one!

Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church just died.

Forgive, but I'm dancing here. I'm laughing and dancing and laughing some more. No matter what else happens to me today, it will still be a good day.

Let my derepping commence, it won't bring me down. You can't bring me down, not today! :D Fred is dead! Wonder how his family is going to feel when people show up to picket his funeral?
Im a christian. But I hated Fred Phelps. He made christians look bad. but still, he was a human being, so I can't dance around for his death like you tinye. Okay, maybe just a little.
I can't say I agree or even like the man, but it is sad that he passed away after making a mockery of himself through his strong beliefs. Going from Civil Rights hero to a homophobic religious extremist is a pretty insane move and it would have been nice if he redeemed himself somehow before his passing.

That is true.
It's good to see I wasn't the only one happy to hear of that asshole's death. Now if the rest of his flock would join him. It would be great to have a bunch of disabled vets go picket his funeral.

Edit: Vets refers to military veterans and not disabled animal doctors, but I am not picky if they feel like picketing too go for it.

Man you guys. Did he actually hurt or kill anybody? Unless he did, I can't celebrate his demise. He was a human being like me, a law abiding one at that. He said hurtful things, but he didn't do them.

TStael: now it is too late to dance upon his grave as it is meaningless.

tinyE: Exactly when did I say I'd be doing this?
I don't mind be criticized, god knows I deserve it especially for this thread, but help me out here by not inventing shit.

The above quoted from your OP.

If your case, possibly, you do not deserve any stronger criticism than being just about as low or even lower in human compassion than the man whose passing you celebrate.

If what this Phelps believed to be true is so (= divine retribution), surely he shall suffer for it, though never forever I would say.

And I also think that for divine or temporal purposes, you would do better to combat him by being accepting and loving of your fellow men indiscriminantly, and possibly focusing your attention to putting pressure where people are being killed for being Phelps-castaways.

WHERE DID I SAY "dancing on his grave"?

WHERE WHERE WHERE WHERE?!?!

You just quoted me and it still isn't there! I don't care if you think I'm a low life, I probably am, but I NEVER posted "dance on his grave".
You didn't say it.

BUT WE SAW YOU.

There were cameras? Why didn't someone warn me?

Very funny! XD I realize we are talking semantics but it pisses me off that with all the tasteless mean things I post in here I'm being ridiculed with something I didn't even post. :P Look around, it's not hard to find something sick and immoral I posted; he could at least have the common courtesy to come after me with one of those.
Let's be honest. In this specific context, if you need a stunt double to divert the heat, I can do the dancing.

Dancing on someone's grave is a metaphorical saying, quite well known too, I should think, which means essentially feeling joy over someone's passing.

You cannot say you felt bad for this man, surely?

I can see that you rather despised this person - like I cannot quite condemn the lady who dispatched Charles Augustus Milverton in a story by Conan Doyle.

But the core question being: what have you done to uplift Phelps' victims? If nothing, I still would not say you are a low life, just that you have missed an opportunity.
There's too many Swiss people in this thread, help!
