Dear GOG Users!
First of all, on behalf of the whole GOG team I'd like to thank you very much for your support and all positive comments we have received in so many posts. This really makes us believe that we do the right thing and gives us even more power and motivation to continue our way of bringing classic games with 100% DRM-free policy.
Second thing is, that if you are happy about what we offer here, please help to spread the word about GOG in other places. We do our best to be visible in as many places as we can, but our efforts have their limits, as there are not as many people working on GOG communication across the web as we'd like (actually two guys, Vandal and me).
Please do not treat it as a request, or something that we expect you to do. No... We just say, help us if you really feel (from deep inside) comfortable with it, and if you think that GOG is worth your help.
Once again, thank you everyone!
And have fun!
GOG.com team via Cook :)
EDIT: You can check our "Spread the word" section to get some banners and maybe even buy yourself a GOG t-shirt!

Thank you GOG for your awesome service!

I would really like to see these three games on gog.com (instant buy for me):

1. Anachronox by Ion Storm

2. 'Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth' by Coktel Vision
(a.k.a. The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble)

3. Heart of Darkness by Amazing Studios

Hope to see them soon, THANKS :)

I definatly spread the word of GOG lol best place for working old favorites i have found. and just to toss it out there, there where a ton of good d&d games back in the day. Ravenloft sieries, Darksun Wake of the Ravager, i believe Shattered lands was another. and there are still a ton more just cant pull the names out of my head and there are a lot of older ones that where awesome too. also Uprising wasent really a rpg more of an upgradeable tank/ base mob thru lvls. all games that i believe would be good titles to add
Thanks to GOG I was able to finally get my hands on a copy of Ultima Underworld: the Stygian Abyss. I first played that game in 1993 and have been searching for it ever since. Finding it optimized for my Win7 laptop made it PERFECT!

I have linked to you guys on Facebook and at least three of my friends have made purchases, I'm happy to say.

Keep up the great work, guys, and thank you!

Last week I told a female gamer friend that GOG kicks ass.
No she is playing 'Blake Stone', 'Might & Magic III' and the first 'Ishar' and sounded a little bit like Doris Day in 'The thrill of it all' when she said, now she's a happier woman :-)
Thank you GOG !
That's really cool to play without cds.
GOG.com is greate! I'll recomend it to my friends here in Spain =)
Hey, I just discovered this site after seeing the youtube video with the DRM knight. This site is great.
I woke up this morning and when I was browsing the net, it occurred to me, I really like GoG, and I should really say thanks to the guys who put all this together, made it possible, and believed that it would work.

Just want to say thanks!
Got a few games last weekend, Great service as usual.

One game I'd really like to see on here is Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.

Thanks GOG for the awesome service. Keep up the good work. I wish there were more people believing in drm free gaming and such honest prices.

You rock!
Time to change the title of the thread to just 'gog' now.
I love that you're bringing in indie games, but... does this mean no more old games made compatible? This was the main reason for my signing up to GOG - there's still many, many old games I hope to see brought on here, games that are poorly compatible with new hardware and OSs
GOG's installer Total Annihilation Commander Pack works very well with Win7..only a few screen glitches on the main menu but no crash to desktop, runtime or .dll errors.Nice

Alone in the Dark 4 runs smooth compared to the boxed retail version.Hopefuly Broken Sword Angel of Death is compatible with dual/multi core now? The Retail version of BK AOD has blacked out textures.

All in all,Love GOG.com.Yeah i do use " the other place" aswell But try getting a new password for your account..nightmare.
I enjoyed and loved this site.
Great

They have said many, many times they have no intentions of ditching re-releasing classic games, there just going to have newer releases on top of the older ones. Which is a smart move since 1. it brings in more people who may not have been interested in older games and 2. since alot of older games are in licensing hell or need alot of work to get up and running(if at all) it's hard to keep up with older title releases every week.
Great site, great service.
