Okay, here's a thread specifically for those of us who are using the same server, so we can plan things (like the GOG fortress) or whatever.

We should outfit the city so when multiplayer mobs are properly implemented, we can attack and defend.

Also, if there is any PvP in the works, we should create rival cities and have siege nights.

What we need... is an ARENA!

People could bet gold bars or something...

And yeah, we need to have defences for when the mobs are present. Although we can all hide in GOG fortress, since it's massive (and mostly empty).

There is already a formidable wall being built around part of the city. It won't hold out enemy players though. ;)

If the Halloween update is compatible with existing SMP maps things will get really crazy since we could build fortresses in hell or use it to access enemy fortresses or whatever.

I really hope you can craft portals...

I'm going to upload pictures of the tower I built (with some -- I mean a lot of help from Arkose) later.

Until the warp mod is installed you'd need to build a path up to it out of dirt or whatever. I never really finished it so there isn't much to see though. Sometime I'll get around to tearing it down and do it properly.

I actually finished that off but It doesn't look like I took any screenshots of the finished version. Might have to find the server and take some tomorrow.

All we need now are some Romans who are not entertained.
