Btw guys, if the server is down don't hesitate to come on IRC and drop me a message, sometimes I have to restart or my computer crash and I tend to forget to get the server back up.
I tried to join this morning but I was refused connection n because I wasn't on the white-list. Did you add me as VaemerRiit or Vaemer-Riit

Just added both; give it a try and see if it works.

Andrew, you're running the server off your desktop, right?

I hope you don't mind me asking, but would it be within your means to buy a dedicated host?

Hey folks, I'm currently going around the GOG server taking pictures of everything that people are making!

I call it..

TRAVELS WITH MY PICK-AXE

For my first trip, I begin close to home. My little house is built on top of a cliff, near the spawn point. There's quite a lot of people nearby, so it's a great place to start out!

Attachments as follows:

1) My home, made of sandstone and glass. A cosy place, and easy access to all the GOG server sights.
2) The spawn has a little beach hut nearby, a good place for any starting miners to rest if they're caught out at night.
3) A shameless plug for my Ultima Minecraft Texture Pack! (visit ultimaaiera.com for more info)
4) This bridge leads from the spawn towards some interesting houses and mines.
5) The abandoned railway system, this stretches quite far around the GOG server, but it is sadly in disrepair.

I did, as it happens.

Don't have the grid ref though (will check later), but it's quite close to the spawn (south perhaps? only a short walk).

It'll be featured in a future episode of "Travels with my Pick-axe".

Missing chunks happens a lot in multiplayer... just log out and back in again.
