Any other RTS junkies like myself that don't adore save anywhere anytime?

Yeah I didn't think so. :P
I did more research on State of Decay and have decided to not do an instant buy...not sure it's one that would hold my interest all the way through.

I love my Saint's Row-4. It has serious action and adventure, but is also very funny in parts. Especially the driving. The vehicles don't respond very well, on purpose and it gets mighty hilarious. I drove a pick-up, hit a barricade, tore off my truck doors and two wheels, fell off the road down below onto a highway going the wrong way. When I hit the barricade, I went airborne and the screen flashed a message saying that I just broke the all-time record for air-borne height and actually stated the height. I got to laughing so hard that I had to stop playing and gather myself together. I had ruptured the town's water main, killed many pedestrians and more damage. The Save system didn't bother me.

I'm seriously thinking about buying Batman Asylum.

Hey tinyE...We have some spring training teams here, but across the Bay are the Tampa Bay Rays. I used to follow the Cubs and the Braves.

Ivory&Gold: None of that makes any sense at all.
Not sure what makes sense then :-P

Let's just agree to disagree then.
I've been working with GOG support and sending them multiple screenshots. I can join in with the forums, but have been unable to download any games. Each time I click on one of my games to d/l (doesn't matter which game), Pathologic d/ls. I've tried different games in my account and everytime Pathologic wants to d/l.

I've uninstalled the GOG downloader twice now and reinstalled, but that didn't help. GOG Support has been very helpful and prompt with their replies. But we just started working on this, so have not gotten too far yet.

Have you tried running something like CCleaner to clean your browser cache?

Hm, I think GOG support will eventually have some help for you.

And the other games don't appear in the downloader's list at all if you scroll down? Have you tried removing Pathologic from the list (right click, remove from list)? And if nothing works, can't you download your games with your browser for the time being (by disabling the GOG downloader icon in your library)?

Ooohhh...Thanks Leroux. Never thought of that. I'll remove Pathologic from the list and try that. I tried disabling the GOG d/l-er from my library, but then the games refused to d/l at all. I'll try now and let you know.

I was unable to remove Pathologic from my library, but I did hide it. My right click shows Copy, Save as, Image, etc, no remove or delete. With Pathologic hidden, I tried to download my Alan Wake and no luck, Pathologic was there again !! Then I tried to turn off GOG downloader and install manually. I don't know yet if that is working. I even turned off my User Account Control, but that hasn't helped.
I found another thread here and there are others having the same problem with this new GOG downloader. Judaslscariot of the GOG Team suggested repointing the GOG d/l-er to a preferred folder and it did work for some. I tried it and didn't have any luck.

To remove a file from the downloader, right click on it in the downloader and select remove from there. It does have the nasty habit of removing the files as well, so do keep a backup of those if you still need them.
If that fails, navigate to %localappdata%\GOG.com and delete everything in that folder. Typing %localappdata% in your address bar in windows explorer should take you to c:\users\{username}\AppData\Local or your equivalent folder. Removing the files from there should reset the downloader completely.
Latest update: :D
As I mentioned, I am d/l-ing Alan Wake manually (Windows). It's a large file and will take some time. I went over to Gog forums and on the left where all my games appear, each of my games has a check mark and I can go directly to that game forum if I choose. I un-clicked Pathologic. Then went over to my account and Pathologic was NOT there on the list. (Thank You !! ) I clicked Deus Ex GOTY and ....guess what showed up...yes, Pathologic...GRRRRRRR

Thanks JMich. I sure do appreciate the help. I'm going to do that right now. :))

I deleted everything in the GOG folder. I had tried earlier to remove Pathologic from the downloader, but wasn't able to.

I've been working on this all morning...it's 12:45 pm where I am. *sigh* At least, I can install thru Windows. So I'm going to escape and play a game. :)

Thank you so much Leroux and JMich...you guys are so nice...XOXOXO

Question, what are those images supposed to be? If that is where you are right clicking to remove the game, that is not the downloader. See attached for where to right click.

Also, by GOG folder you mean the folder where the downloader downloads the files, or the one in %localappdata%, which should also contain the logger.log and settings.js files?

Yes, I've done that. I appreciate the suggestion. It seems that others are having the same problem. And it is with the new GOG downloader. No matter what I do, the downloader says it will start to download Pathologic. I've even deleted the "Pathologic" word and typed in the game name, etc and it still d/ls Pathologic. It's stuck in a loop. I've deleted all files/folders re GOG, started over. Pathologic doesn't even exist anymore. Bummer. Anyway, the great GOG Support Team is trying to help.

Yes, there were two files in the folder and I un-installed both of them.

%localappdata% folder should contain logger.log, settings.js, a folder named "GOG.com_Downloader.exe_Url_s12e0e2ucnge1434nht10dvruobj1wma" or similar, the image of the game(s) you have downloaded/queued so far, and a .bin file for each file you are downloading. If it only contains the 2 files, which ones are they from the list?
