bansama: FYI, they also censor fanboy,
Its hilarious that crowd considers fanboy to be on the same level as far worse actual offensive terms.
Worst has to be EA forum, mainly FIFA 13. Talking about scripting, momentum, cheating AI mean
instant lock and ban because the official stance by EA Canada (the devs) it doesn't exist at any sort of form (more BS). Also, you'll see plenty of asterisk as a form of censorship.

Anyone ever play the censored Carmageddon. Man, what a downer. It's like a racing game IN Raccoon City.

I actually never understood how can someone think a game gets less violent by coloring the blood green instead of red. I mean you still butcher a crapload of victims even though they're bleeding green.

The company line for the green was that you were running over zombies, not living people, hence my bad Resident Evil reference.
I recently tryed to have a discussion with my friend Richard on the Steam boards about our dog breeding hobby.

Let's just say the discussion with Dick about Bitches didn't last long.
Hey guys, my spy got some inside intel from the GOG office, and he told me that System Shock 2
-REMOVED-

/edit: To anyone coming late to the party, I was messing with the newly introduced signature system with the text "Post edited by AllTheAdmins, and they were all very disappointed" as my sig. I did it because lately GOG has been coming home so late, and hasn't whispered sweet nothings into my ear while releasing games in weeks, so I've started to fear that they might not love me anymore.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. I hope this doesn't get censored (gotta keep this topic related!) but Zombies are fuckers. I mean, I could overlook the smell and the moaning and the lurching and even the eating people, but the window and the door smashing is just too much. Here you go, installing some beautiful new bay windows on your sun porch, and along comes some zombie shithead smashing it all to hell. Not to mention that this sort of thing causes propery values to drop and that doesn't help anyone. I hope I havn't upset or offended anyone here, but I do have very strong feelings regarding this matter and I feel I need to speak up!

predcon: Not all four-letter words are 'four-letter words'. For example, casual discussion about the
use of black & white 'Noir' graphics in games, the subject of how the mechanic of 'actual
detective work' was wholly underutilised came up. I said 'Yeah, in The Saboteur, they make
good use of the B&W graphics to set the mood, but it's all about WWII anti-Nazi rebels'. Or
something to that effect. Anyway, the word 'Nazi' was replaced with all 'hearts'.
After the initial moment of disbelief, I came to the conclusion that Valve has decided it's a lot
easier to completely censor a sensitive subject than to intervene in discussions where
political party names are used derogatorily, as opposed to casual academic conversation.
tl;dr
In short, 'Lazy Bastards'.
That is insane.

DaCostaBR: Yeah, I always found all that censoring pretty ridiculous. Part of why I like the GOG foruns is
the freedom they allow us to say whatever we want, funny thing is, I could probably count on one
hand the amount of times I've seen someone curse here.
Incoming slogan.

"On GOG Forum we treat you like adults, even though we know that you are still children inside."

Ubivis: There is some censoring here... it is mainly a couple of words, that will magically exchanged
with another word, that fits into the context :)
I thought it was only the topic titles that got any censoring since you can see them without looking in the thread.
This is the kind of joke i was talking about:
