JudasIscariot: AFAIK there were probably legal reasons why we don't have the U.S. voices. I say AFAIK because the game was way before my time as a GOG employee :)

tfishell: Could you at least double-check when you get a chance, please? :) EDIT: Actually I guess it'd be obvious, as GOG does try to bring all they can (extra languages, bonus content) and they probably knew many people wanted the U.S. voices.

EDIT2: Says here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normality_%28video_game%29#Versions - Interplay owns the rights to the U.S. version (unless that changed hands at some point). It'd definitely be nice if they'd be willing to allow the Corey Feldman version to be downloadable, if GOG were willing to pay a one-time fee or something for that. (Heck, I'd be willing to email Interplay myself, but I'm sure official GOG staff would have more sway.)
Considering someone else has the rights to publish the game, I doubt Interplay would be willing to give what they have to a group who is essentially competing with them. I wonder if Interplay or Blue Moon Red Owl would be willing to buy/sell certain rights for the game so that we could see it here with both voice casts... this issue seems pretty unlikely to sort out, but It'd be nice to see this issue worked out sometime in the future.

JudasIscariot: Hmmmm, that looks like a tangled web of legalese from my untrained-in-law perspective and so I doubt we'll be seeing the U.S. voices here in the future. Sorry :(
Just because I'm wondering and you're here now: Are legal reasons also the reason for the not having the Windows version of Phantasmagoria 2?

Usually if we don't have the Windows version, it means that we couldn't get it to work due to technical issues beyond our control :(

When it comes to issues like that, do people still try to get it working even after it releases? The unofficial Carmageddon 1 Win95 patch works wonders on my computer setup (far better than the original DOS release on offer which lagged a ton on my computer for some reason).

I was also wondering because I have a CD copy of SimCity2000 and the Win95 version works right out of the box on my Win7 64-bit PC (after adding the proper registry entry) - whereas currently the GOG version of SimCity2000 is the DOS version.

It depends on the issue that plagues a particular game.

It may work just fine for you but can you guarantee that it will work on the machines of 2,000,000 other people? (2,000,000 is the number that was used in a statement about the unique hits per month )

Many thanks, a nice selection!
I might buy one of the "Worms" games, thus I ask: If I only want to get one to occasionally play, which should it be? I suppose I should also ask if they're all that great, at least for the price, at all.

Worms 2 is my favorite, it has the gameplay of the first with much better graphics.
Forts is an entirely new type of gameplay, not as fun IMO.

Thanks man, I'll probably go with that one. I was leaning towards that one anyway, but was unsure if there's some sort of benefit to playing the first one anyway.
Ok, I've bought 7 titles, but I'm still undecided about Soulbringer.
Does anyone love or hate it? Why?

Also, is Theme Park better than RollerCoaster Tycoon titles?

Dont see much love for Slipstream or Incoming+ Incoming Forces? Both worth it?
Come to think of it, are Creatures games that bad?

Niggles:
Incoming was stupid fun, the controls were awful, but once you got used to it it was great.

Incoming Forces seems to have music issues and everything skips around so I haven't had the chance to play it. Support said to update video drivers... but I've read bad things about the latest AMD drivers and GOG games and don't feel too comfortable trying it. I really want to play it though.

Thanks for the response. Hot damn, that's a bummer...
