Somehow, the game going on in the other thread is working out amazingly.

I love introducing random events based on the type of square you ended your turn in. Decision making = WIN.

Hopefully we can do the same in the final round of Blues vs. Wanderers

So it's officially round 3 and you want us to choose a subclass and what else? Do we get a new ability to choose? Will you tell us how much cash do we have, what items did we loot?

Indeed!

I'm just working on corrections and modifications to certain skills/spells. Give me a day or two to work that out.

After that, I'll remind you how much gold/how many weapons you looted, and then we can level up and you can use your gold.

Yes, you will get new abilities, including access to advanced skills/spells.

Sound good?

Of course, I only would like to know if everyone is ok with ending the round, I know you're the GM here but I'm not quite sure if everyone feels that it is fair to end the battle like this. Besides that, you said you need a day or two to adjust the spells and we may end the battle fast if someone from Wanderers is online.
On a sidenote, I'm okay with ending the round right now.

Yep, it's just cause it's slowed down so considerably. I realize essentially the Blue team won, though either way that would just mean we have to settle it in game 3. :)

BTW, I usually think of myself as quite passive... I would not have preferred to do this, but I see no choice right now...

Obviously if there is strenuous objection of any kind, I can be persuaded... but I doubt it at this point.

This game has been fun so far and I'm cool with ending this round now if that is what's wanted. One question, though. Will we still use this forum for changing skills, upgrading characters and discussing balance, or should we switch over to the new one? Thanks for the free game, too! :D

Sure, this thread is getting a bit crazy (what with 100+ pages).

In the future, I would like to keep is so that each "quest" (you've had 2 so far) has it's own thread. So right now, the other thread is just for the Black Brigade's "quest."

I'll make a thread where we discuss leveling up, and a separate thread for the store (a permanent thread for it). I'll try to have all the spells and skills modified within the next two or three days, then I'll contact you all.

LoL I wonder how many words this thread contains.

I'm fine with moving on to round 3. We had a plan for action, but depending on Blues response we mighta had to do some more dancing.

If you would the resources of a forum, you are welcome to use mine. I could install a section for you. It could have its forum style (wouldn't use TF 17's look), subforums, and chat box.

I'm looking forward to leveling up! I think I know the direction I want. Perhaps I can build this character in keeping with his namesake: The name White Elk comes from an old D&D character I played many many years ago. He was a multi-class Druid/Ranger. But I think the Shaman specialization fits well enough.

As we get towards level 5, further suggestions regarding customization options are welcome. So, if I can allow you to build the TYPE of character you want, I will try to do so.

Right now we are discussing skill and spell balance in the other thread. I want to get that ironed out before we continue.

Thankfully, this great thread can now be retired. It has been excellent, but it's time to move on.
Post in the link to the newer thread, once it's established.
