Nope. When you look at someone's post, move your cursor into the area at the top above the light gray line. See the + and - in the upper right corner? Clicking + gives them 1 rep, clicking - takes 1 rep away.

GameRager: Rep goes up because it seems people can up rep every post(or down rep) of any poster they want......causing one poster to get alot of positive or negative rep in a short time......IMO each poster should only be able to rep others so many times a day......but that's just my two cents. It would help avoid rep abuse though.
That's how it worked in the other forum I mentioned. It kept people from over-repping, but I didn't really like it.

It's nice to be able to give rep to a fine post/poster though :)
To be able to show approval or disapproval other than just by posting, and so that people have a way to easily judge who is a valuable member of the community and who isn't.
