I made a post about this server on the official Minecraft forums...so that should aid us in getting some more players (and griefers? :-o ) to this server hopefully....

Was some minor griefing done on Karachos house. Thats all I could find and I fixed most of it.

Don't leave buckets or iron easily avaliable. Theese morons just love buckets....

Also naturally don't leave even more destructive material avaliable....try to hide it...or put it far from spawn....

Every public server gets griefers, which is a damned shame. It always seems in MP games (public servers) that the griefers outnumber the helpful people.

Is it free-build or roleplay? Are there towns?

Free build as long as you don't grief people; as for towns, just what we managed to build so far (a kind of castle)

It's funny, not a single griefer until the server and its I.P. info was posted on the official Minecraft forums. I guess GOG really is a classier community.

I've seen griefers openly post on the MC forums. They seem like normal, civilized users until someone mentions griefing and they go "Sometimes I do that for fun" and as an optional addition "But only to servers who are run by people I hate".

I'm completely against it, by the way, I'm just posting what I've seen.

Does minecraft allow for servers to have a list of pre approved people yet? That way people could apply on this forum and get added rather then have it open to the world.

I was playing on this server until some jackass ruined the experience by killing me twice and messing with my property.
I'll just go back to playing on my private server with the guys I trust.
